The official winter 2015/2016 snow thread. (Ahem...)
Discussion
I dont ever remember it raining like this week in, week out, even in Manchester, the tarmac is permanently wet, it drying out is a major even, then it starts again, got my car in November and have only driven on dry roads about three times, sick to the tits of everything being damp.
Is this just how it is, chance, global warming or whatever.
As a kid I remember snow pretty much every year, loads of cold, crisp, dry days, more foggy days, ok it rained then as well but not every fking day.

I see gusts hit 95 mph at the Needles last night.
Definitely a bit windy.
Seems to be an exception. I'm on the south coast and only had a gusts to about 60mph so far, which is way under what was originally promised.Definitely a bit windy.
Possible snow for the much of the country towards the weekend. A couple of likely times being Friday and Sunday. If Sunday comes off it could be quite heavy in the South...
Both events are, of course, marginal. So the normal heavy dose of salt...
There is no big cold event coming up - so the risk of it not happening is high.

Im in Manchester- this morning I was running back to the office from my car in my boots (unlaced) and guess who pole-axed himself into the tarmac in the driving rain? It was PAINFUL but the thought of laying in a puddle of water getting wetter for 0.5sec's had me up and off again. In pain now though. Is this just how it is, chance, global warming or whatever.

Why is it raining soo much here? What have we done wrong!

Though, it doesnt feel like much of an advantage at the moment, everything is slimy and damp, outside isnt much better nothing more depressing than visiting Wythenshawe hospital on a dismal Sunday evening, damp troglodytes hacking away whilst smoking a fag outside the entrance.
My missus went to something at event city and then fell on her arse on a wet embankment, by the time she had got home she had calmed down and saw the funny side and didnt feel the need to implicate me in it, though I was allowed to clean the mud off the interior of her car which was very gracious of her.

Netweather are suggesting it's going to absolutely st fk it down with snow up here in the Yorkshire Dales from this weekend onwards.
Not sure I believe them, nor do I really care. Too little too late. I want spring & summer now. fk off winter fker.
Would be typical, I am off to Boston with work for a week, they have snow there though. Not sure I believe them, nor do I really care. Too little too late. I want spring & summer now. fk off winter fker.
