We only peaked mid-60s right on the coast, very ordinary.

It's forecast a bit on and off through the day I think.
Certainly chilly this morning!

It's stopped for now and higher levels have got a covering but doubt there will be enough to cause any problems.

Snowed for a few minutes in Port Solent, turned to sleet and then rain smile Stopped now but still a very dark sky.

It looks cool enough for at least the next week/10 days for just about anywhere to see a flake.

Would be typical, I am off to Boston with work for a week, they have snow there though.
They've predicted a mini heatwave in Boston for the next three weeks

Just nipped to Tesco stupidly in a tee shirt and light hoodie. It got sunny before it got dark and seemed quite nice looking out from the lounge. Schoolboy error.

Four degrees. Not that crazily cold, just the wrong clothes I guess. Brrrr.

That's the problem here, it can look lovely, then you realize it's 20 below.

Or you go out and it drops 40 degrees in 2 hours.

Knife-edge scenario with the likely outcome being miserably cold rain. As usual, northern areas and higher ground may get some short lived accumulations. A few more chances over the following week, but there is no pool of cold in this part of the world, so it will be temporary if it snows.

Not from where I'm sitting at the moment. It's about 4 degrees and lashing down with rain with high winds in Dresden. In Frankfurt it is blowing a gale and the past 3 days have been very blowy. The car nearly managed a full lane swap on an empty Autobahn on Sunday at around 240kph due to a sudden gust. Not funny.

Some snow forecast for Yorkshire depending on where you are, we've actually started to get "normal" winter temps at the moment and forecast for the coming 10 days 5c to -2c high and low.

Still a huge tidal surge at the moment, in an otherwise bright but blustery day. Video below is of other half trying to leave for work this morning. smile
