Some snow forecast for Yorkshire depending on where you are, we've actually started to get "normal" winter temps at the moment and forecast for the coming 10 days 5c to -2c high and low.
Did you get a really thick frost this morning? Complete white out.
My son is doing a night hike with Scouts so I'm sure it will snow at the weekend. hehe

Chance of snow for the weekend has dwindled to close to nothing (higher elevations in Wales and Yorkshire may be lucky). Next chance looks like Thursday...

Same here in the Dales. Absolutely glorious.

I'm on a bit of a fitness kick at the moment, typically walking about 15 km per day. For weeks it's been miserable, yesterday was just blue skies, 2 degree temps and superb.

A few more days and I'll be able to get the Porsche out on the Yoko A048s. Yee hah!

Minus 1 deg in East Sussex at 08:00 - beautiful sunrise with mists laying in the valleys (seen from atop of Ashdown Forest).

Previous days have seen rain whilst temps were only 3 degrees - in the old days it would've snowed at that temp...cannot rely on anything anymore.../grumpy

Sunday and Thursday still carry potential. Both are still on a knife-edge.

Sunday more likely to effect higher areas of the SW, but anywhere south of M4 could see heavy rain/sleet/snow.

Thursday more widespread across England. Too early to be sure on details, but currently looking quite tasty, but risky...

Keep an eye on Thursday. Far from nailed on, but possibly the best chance of this awful winter.

It managed to rain and then freeze in my village last night. Unfortunately, a young lad crashed his motorbike on the icy lane, meaning that I had to take take him to A&E frown

All was OK apart from a bruised knee and a chipped bone in his leg - a very lucky young chap indeed
