It managed to rain and then freeze in my village last night. Unfortunately, a young lad crashed his motorbike on the icy lane, meaning that I had to take take him to A&E frown

All was OK apart from a bruised knee and a chipped bone in his leg - a very lucky young chap indeed
Well done! Perhaps worth getting him a copy of something on Natural Selection to read whilst he laid up...!

Lovely cold, frosty and clear day today. If it had been like this all winter I wouldn't have minded the lack of snow.

Snow again in Aberdeenshire.

Just up from Cock Bridge on the A939

Just out of shot is the Civic that missed the corner and ran 15 metres off the road.

My wife's sisters live just outside Diss on the Norfolk/Suffolk border. Apparently it's been snowing on and off all day.

Well, finally got some snow and proper cold, am in Boston, came out of the airport and holy st it's cold, dry, sharp cold, minus 15c, snow piled all round the place, 20 ft piles in parking lots, bit more due then a rapid thaw.

Was snowing in Bury St Edmunds as I left for work at 8 pm but had turned to rain just down the A14 towards Stowmarket.

Snow in North York Moors. Was 2 inches earlier but it's thrown down all night so it'll be a bit more by the morning.

Light dusting in Lincolnshire.

I head north west to work and the closer I got, the less snow there was.

Amazing how some people drive in these conditions though. I have seen the usual erratic numpties driving as if it is a hot summer day. I've also seen the idiots driving with windscreens frozen up and bits of snow right in their faces.

For which am bloody thankful, in fact it's looking to be a decent couple of days on the slopes if the weathermen have it right..

Oh and looking like snow for West Berks. / South Oxfordshire as I head to play in it!

Models are showing rain turning to snow - unlikely to amount to much.
