Lovely chilly mornings but, as yet, no frost in north Herts.

Is the dog's fur coat insufficient?

Still very reasonable here in SW London as you'd expect. Anyone have any ideas on when it'll start turning properly chilly? I'm guessing another month or so at least.

Chilly mornings in south wales no frost yet but been sunny all week, cold in the shade mind but warmish in the sun though. Got a navara for winter duties this winter so means no snow now.

No sign of proper cold yet. Early prognosis for November is Atlantic weather taking charge.

First frost of winter here in central Scotland.

Is that the bend before the karussell? Is it common to get snow at the ring this time of year?

Up to 12cm of snow in Hesse just north of Frankfurt. Since I have been here, it has never snowed so early. I drove back home on Tuesday evening through heavy sleet with the temperature guage hovering just above freezing.
