Snowing again here; a couple of inches so far, it looks like. Up to 6" expected.

Of course, facebook is alive with reminders of the 3 day march blizzard of 2003 which dropped 40".....doubt we'll be that lucky, though.

Oh - the reason for the snow is that I bought a patio umbrella a couple of days ago as it was 20c+ for a week.

The hedges are coming out in East Sussex, I've sold the AWD Mazda and I'm commuting with the top down in the MR2.

Winter is OVER !

I think you're right, although it was bone-chilling cold today!

March CET is currently running cold, i.e. below average, looking at the outlook, it'll probably end up about average.

All sorted now. After lots of young and froing this week, my wife and son are travelling through the US, as originally planned. I've had to buy flights that route me through a Central American country and then I'll meet them in Belize. On the way back, they'll go back though the US and I'll go back through Central America. I land back in the UK a day later than them at about lunchtime and, annoyingly, have to drive from LGW to Newbury, pack a suitcase and then take a car back to LHR for my flight to KL for work. I reckon I'll have about 3 hours at home - just enough time for the 3 S's and a bite to eat!!!

On the plus side, my employer has been outstanding with helping me with this predicament.

I was just coming here for confirmation of the same, looks like Friday will be the only dry day. I'm really fed up with hibernating now!

Woke up this morning to a winter storm watch alert on the phone; snow due tonight, tomorrow, Friday and Saturday, though I doubt we'll get more than 3" in total.

You might want to rephrase that for the web.

looking for about 5" tomorrow, oo-er missus.

And some more Friday, and now Sunday.

We're officially in Spring, too.
