We've had some interesting weather the past couple of days, starting with a huge amount of rain on Thursday. The bus in the pics fell into the river when the bridge collapsed, only the driver on board at the time and he got off sharpish. Pics taken today.

Wow. Lucky driver.

Thank you. I knew it would be something obvious and I would feel stupid!

Well, the models are in chaos at the moment, very little agreement. Could this be the sign of something special...?

Thanks for the mail, will reply! Not sure I can stomach carols though. <bah-humbug>

Looks like some snow forecast for up here in the Dales this weekend. Looks a bit mild for it to stick though.

Yup, there's a brief coolER incursion of air, but nothing to get excited about before mildness returns.

The charts were briefly exciting yesterday, all over the shop, and some showing snowmeggdon approaching Xmas. Didn't get too excited though, and proved right as they reverted back today frown

We had a mini-snowmaggedon a few days ago. Took a while to clear the worse off the drive/ parking places.

Good. We fly off skiing on Boxing Day, so a nice, mild Christmas with no disruption would be perfect thumbup

There was some on them when I flew over them on Wednesday. The runs around the village we are staying in have about 30 - 40cm courtesy of a little dump hem had 10 days ago and the webcams are still showing them to be eminently ski-able at present.

Fingers crossed!!
