That is astonishing! Some serious self restraint being shown there.

Girl.
I know. My wife suggested just now we go out for a drink. I declined and instead I am talking to strangers on the Internet. I get hangovers these days. Never used to. I blame being 45.

Cycling along, i get people shouting "wker!" from cars the other side of the road, or making coffee-beans signs etc... it all washes over me.
Do you have any other choice?
If you managed to catch them up they're still sitting in a steel box.
So very little likelihood of you managing to give them a right hander laugh

Im not sure you read my entire post. I was saying, even given an opportunity, im not so stupid to want to get in a fight over something said, or some form of non-verbal communication. And frequently I do have "opportunity" - couple of weeks ago a bellend overtook me an inch from my arm - I just looked up and shook my head in exasperation as he drove on. He saw this, slowed down and started giving the coffee beans. I smiled and flipped the bird. Then he slams the brakes on, realises he cant stop, accelerates away and pulls in at a layby - hes getting out and screaming at me as I just cycle by ignoring him. Takes him a while to pull back out due to traffic and then hes driving along beside me screaming out the open passenger window. I ignore him because, I came out for a ride, not to get into a fight, and im not going to end up in court because of a word or a hand gesture.

Opinions are like aholes and it seems the world is full of them too but to get into a fight over someone else's stupid comment is crazy, it wasn't specially aimed at you so why let it bother you so much? I'd simply lose interest in the person and turn away to be with people I don't think are morons.

What are people thinking? I've considered giving someone a kicking since I was 18.
What's stopped you?

Depends, just punch through the open window from which they shouted.

Whilst dishing out violence to those most deserving should be a human right......you wanted to leather him because of that comment?

Really?

Jeeze.
