On holiday in the US at the mo.
Wife's dad is retired USAF.

While this is not technically WWII it was commissioned in 1943ish





Not this one as its a G variant

First flight was in 1952, bid invites went out in 1946, so very much Cold War rather than WW2

There were a number of German Afrika Corps POW's held here in Roswell.
They were put to work building up a river bank and managed to integrate an iron cross into the brickwork.
