Who cares about going grey? Could be worse, you could be going bald!
I'm so pleased I have a full head of hair even if it is getting "natural highlights". I have a dark skinned mate who has the whole George Clooney thing going on. He's very grey compared to me (both early 40's) but it just makes him even more appealing to the ladies. I'm still ugly but I don't think my greys do me any harm.

I've got blonde hair (going grey at the sides a bit). It goes really blonde in the sun and the grey becomes unnoticeable and every summer I get accused of dyeing it. It's humiliating enough when I know I haven't dyed it, I'd be too embarrassed to do it for real.
I'd only dye it if it was turning ginger rather than grey.

This is why it doesn't work - the stubble comes out grey. Same for fellas that wear syrups.

If you can tell someone is colouring their hair, then they're going to a crap hairdresser. It's a doddle to make it look natural but there's plenty of crappy hairdressers out there unfortunately, and plenty of blokes who just buy a cheap box of something at the supermarket.

It's got to be said however that out of our large make customer base, we have only one who we regularly colour.

If any of my customers ask about it, I mostly tell them to stop being a ponce and just live with it. Women seem to love it regardless.

I dyed my beard black a few months ago, wife is a hairdresser and did it after we joked about it and I said go on for a laugh.

I thought it looked ridiculous, as did she, laughed away...

I went into work the next day and not one person noticed....or at least no one mentioned it... scratchchin

What's with all these allegations?

I posted this picture of Sir Paul as an example of a mature gentleman who clearly doesn't need to dye his lustrous barnet because he's been lucky enough to keep his natural colouring.

I've never understood why 99.99% of blokes who dye their hair do so.
Ask 100% of women?
I can understand why women do it... For whatever reason, society chucks grey haired women on the scrap heap. It doesn't happen with blokes though, so why bother?
Not quite true, I haven't cut or coloured my hair in over 2 years, it is now silver highlighted and I get compliments about it plus it has saved me a fortune

I can't spot a single grey hair anywhere on my head. A huge proportion of my facial fuzz is white.

No...been grey as a badger for decades and never resorted to artificial colourings. Besides, it raises the vexed question of what to do south of the meridian.

I have had a couple of attempts at mild colouring due to some greying issues. The problem is it always gives the hair a slightly reddish tinge. The first time a couple of people mentioned it but I passed it off as being due to the chlorine in the pool and a lot of sunlight. I think I got away with it.
The last time I tried it nobody mentioned anything but I was very aware that when I was speaking to people I knew, their line of sight was directly at my hair, rather than my eyes, which was a bit unerving.

Think I will just leave it from now on and be greatful for having a full head of hair, albeit, a slightly greying one.

Not so much dying hair, but hair related.

I'm 25 and have a full head of thick hair. However since I was 19, I have had grey mallen streak right in the centre at the front, it has become more predominant and now has stayed about the same for a few years. (think johnny depp in sweeny todd but less)

I didn't like it at first so used 'just for men' for a bit, but I get so many positive compliments about it now, and so many people think I've done it on purpose as a kind of fashion thingy. Its become a distinguishing feature and somewhat of a conversation starter attractive females believe it or not!

So for now, its staying, unless it becomes widespread, in which case I may dye it until I'm at least in my forties.

I should be thankful, I wont suit bald.

Quite grey at the sides now - I get my hair cut more often than I used to, it looks better kept short. Didn't shave for a few days this week, and noticed that I have grey stubble on my chin. And just to rub it in, I pulled these two fkers out of my eyebrows today - at least they're not grey, I suppose, though I did recently extract a similarly long pure brilliant white one from my earhole.
