My nickname in real life is Stainless. Not really sure why but it has stuck.
This was taken so I put it into Google translate in different languages before settling on Swedish.
I also own an old Swedish car which has a rostfritt exhaust.

Pranked a mate, he called me a fanny. I looked for alternatives to the F word and settled on this (thank you Profanisaurus).

Ok, so I think we have gathered lots of natural visitors to the thread, now we need to start targetting people by linking the thread along with a comment similar to "you are obliged to post here" for people we are curious of their usernames

Guess the vehicle I drive!
I would guess either a Peugeot 208 or possibly a Mondeo?
I think that I need to update my garage as both of those have gone now! Now have a 2015 Vauxhall Antara (managed to get £8000 off book price so bit of a no-brainer) and SWMBO is driving a Lime Green 2015 Vauxhall Corsa (which I have nicknamed Kermit).

I got a haircut about 20 years ago (when I had hair) and a mate said I looked like Hugo a Gogo out of Batfink, the name stuck

I don't think he was calling you illiterate. I think he was saying that it's a borderline literate way to spell Ventora if that's what you were intending to write.

Jimmy the borderline literate Opel Rekord driver is of course right.

Yeah, I wouldn't have guessed a Vauxhall Antara from that username. Apart from the fact that I'm not sure I'd even heard of the Antara (I've seen them but never bothered to check the name).

I don't know if my mind would have instantly gone to the Ventora either, but at least Ventoras look nice. I kind of fancy one as a reasonable classic.

Or even a good Opel Rekord. I'm not fussy about my GM stuff from the 1970s

I must also confess that I had never heard of an Antara until just now.

Thanks for the link - it looks like they're utterly brilliant.

And I'm a guy who thinks that the 2000-2006 Vauxhall Corsa was actually pretty good.
