I'm here kids lol.

Very much alive and not fapping!

Update -

She shows up at the bar about 30 mins after me. And taps me on the shoulder to greet me.

The small talk begins. You know work, life and a little banter.

I'm feeling relaxed... Yes relaxed around her and frustrated. Frustrated because I have no interest in this small talk. So I cut her off mid way and say "... I'd like to get to know you..". She looked puzzled and stated that we're were already doing that.

She clearly didn't understand. So I repeated myself lol. Emphasising the word "know". "I'm flattered. You're an attractive young man. However I don't think the other half would be happy if you stole me from him".

Disappointed yes. But also relieved that I now know what was once unknown. All in all it was an enjoyable evening. Would've been even better if she wasn't so selfish Would've been even better if she wasn't so selfish.... On to the next one I guess.

Perhaps I could still sway her..... Who knows. Either all that nervousness I once had around her, is gone!
Eh you what? Her selfish? Think you are getting above your station there Casanova.

Sway her? She's married with kids...perhaps you should consider fking right off and get back to playing with yourself?

Just sayin' like.

OP, you could have saved all this heartache by simply having a Facebook account.

2 mins of Internet stalking would have confirmed a husband, kids, and probably a selfie with cleavage for your wk bank.

I hope i haven't wasted the last four days at work reading this thread for a disappointing end frown

Maybe the husband came home and he's stuck in the wardrobe?
Are you Brian Rix?
Err what?
In the average Brian Rix farce someone ends up in a cupboard sans pantalons hiding from a husband.

Mate.

Just read this from the start and I'm gutted for you! Although as said above, she does seem a little too keen considering... Maybe she is game for a bit of playing away? There is still hope!

You're so wrong it's painful.
Disagree. Ron Burgundy-esque IMO and said with enough self-belief, potentially devastating.

I want to be on you. I have many leather bound books, and my study smells of rich mahogany.

Those two statements were a joke.... The first one even more so.

Gentlemen, it has been emotional. 40-odd pages of nail-biting "will he, won't he".

OP - sorry about result, but at least you've overcome those pesky nerves!

Guess I have to go do some work now...

It could well have been a test, albeit with an element of truth, hence the kids test first time around. Be relentless, when something like that is said to you OP, just say, "that you can't help with all her problems, but your experience has told you to keep the options open." Obviously you have to be a little careful in a work setting, but just throw the resistance back at her and keep on knocking down the barriers in masculine way.

Good on you for giving it a go.

She's still there for the taking. Look, married people in their 40s want to fk new people, that's a fact, on the whole both men and women are only as faithful as opportunities allow - I'm not saying she is going to or wants to leave her husband (probably doesn't she would have told you) or even have an affair but she met you in that pub and that means she wanted to fk and you let that slip through your fingers - question is can you handle it? Doesn't sound to me like you can.

Can't help feeling she didn't really understand you when you emphasized the word "know", that was a bit ambiguous.

You should go see her this morning at her desk and just say "I'm not sure you grasped what I meant when I said I'd like to get to "know" you.... This. I meant this...." while making an O with the forefinger and thumb of one hand and thrusting your other forefinger into it. Just keep doing it for as long as is necessary for her to understand/uncomfortable for all around.

I did suggest the use of Sex Panther aftershave...that definitely would have worked (60% of the time).

Absolutely. It's not as if the imaginary 'husband' was invented seconds after that line...

Honestly OP, dreadful dreadful line! biggrin

Visions of it being delivered in a covert lieutenant in the Territorial Army kind of way.

"I want to KNOW you..."

Unbelievable Jeff! She was there for the taking. What happened after that line? Did you carry on getting to know her?

In all honesty it was fine. No awkward atmosphere or anything.

In fact she appeared to be all shy at me approach her. Because of her age.

Anyway, I set out to approach this person. Yes it took a while. Glad I done it!
