i was expecting the video of the white vectra estate that did a wheelspin, covering the area with smoke, only to accelerate forward into the smoke and hit a police vehicle (and you see the lights come on seconds later)

So, how does that work then, being on a public highway, with no law enforcement?

I have read about much smaller car meets being broken up by the police in the past.

04:18 there's a silver Lexus (I think?). How do they hold it on the spot like that whilst lighting up the rear wheels?

These guys obviously care and put a lot of time and money into the cars.

I love my Cars and Bikes, but I have never got the I'd like to spunk my engine and a set of tyres showing off to a load of kids who are lined up ready to be run over bit.

Even when I was young I wasn't into it. Im not sure why, maybe its because I never wore Spiderman Y Fronts or something.

Probably too busy investigating twitter and facebook complaints. Seriously though, the Police should have been shutting that down.

By mashing the accelerator while hard on the brakes in an auto? Or is this a trick question?

But doesn't the rear wheel brakes apply as well?

No trick question honestly, genuinely curious as to how the do it.

Some fit a line lcck. I used to left foot brake. Rear brakes are overcome by the torque. They are less effective than the fronts as a rule.

I was watching a dashcam compilation video which was mostly foreign incidents, but there was this clip of a Toyota Supra losing control on a wet roundabout somewhere in the UK.

You can drive a RWD car around with the handbrake on. Yes it's not good for the long life of the brakes. But mechanical sympathy and burnouts hardly go hand in hand.
