No, nothing like rugby at all. Injuries are a side-effect and not intentionally caused. Thenaim isn't to win a game of rugby when all your opponents are unconcious on the floor suffering potential brain damage.

This isnt bull fighting. Both participants are willing, also mental in my opinion, but willing nonetheless. Let them do what they want; they know the risks.

Not the point, lots of people pay money to watch this barbarism. Regardless of how 'willing' they are, it still displays a significant lack of progression of society if crowds still bray for one man (or woman) to significantly injure another man/woman in the name of 'entertainment'.
