Imagine trying that today.

After watching the pylon clip, I stumbled on this, not a job for me.

I was waiting for a plane to pass by, below them. Sod that.
I hope they are paid a fantastic wage for that.

I've always wondered why they aren't winched down from a helicopter, as that must be cheaper than a payout if it 'goes wrong'.

If it was me I'd bloody drop the screw after I undid the top bit.

Not sure what the point of the hard hat is though. Also, take a 'chute and jump off would seem a sensible time saving.

Or do you think robotic research is solely aiming to develop you a sexual partner or something?
It would be nice if they did, however, could you show me where this development is now being used?

Genuine interest.
Why do you think it isn't being used anywhere?
That's what I'm asking, as i don't know.
A lot of this sort of stuff is based on what gets spun out of it, much like space travel, it contributes to technology in other ways. Normally when Google or the other big guys buy a company there is a large game in play. Much like how Google Photos contribute to the self-driving car project, there is normally a multi-billion dollar industry that's in play. Often it's not obvious to those on the outside.
Thanks.

This is a nice example of how the data that we provide, goes to use in some totally different way, it's not exactly about robots, but it's related to my point about Google Photos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jCr6rNaZ9EU

not sure how credible he is cos he's american and it's youtube. But the days of waking up flicking between Live & Kicking and SM:TV Live were the good days.

That's interesting. I always wondered why this had become so seemingly simple.

I think there's some truth to the cartoon channels, and the greed of the regular channels to not create cartoons.
