Wow - retail is Tooth Hurty.
Very good!

I'm genuinely curious as to what makes it 'worth' that much usually - I can't get my head around it.

Been having problems with my Oxford battery conditioner for the motorbike and was planning to get a CTEK MXS3.8 (we've just order half a dozen of the MXS 5.0 for work and they're fantastic). What pops up on Amazon, yep, a CTEK MXS 3.8 as a lightening deal - £38 down from £48

That'll do nicely thanks...

SimplyLED..... I usually buy Gu10 LEDs from them... Ive been through them all, (Spark to trade) and the ones from this site are decent...

I got 200 GU10 LED Lamps for £333. Just over 1.50 per lamp.

Went to jewellers and spent £7k on a ring last weekend, which had to be sent off for resizing. Went to collect it today and the same place had a 10% sale. Gutted, but she is worth it smile

Euro car parts have 15% off so I bought some ignition coils. Combined with the Quidco 16% cashback I think I got a good deal.

Can't say the prospect of standing around in shops watching unemployed people fighting to spend their disability checks on 96" ultra 3D laser TVs really appeals to me.

Did you not think to ask if it was going to be reduced in the sales next week...?
Never mind, I'm sure she is.

I know how to rock it.

Been looking to replace my electric toothbrush and spotted this on sale at £57 (lightning deal on Amazon at the time):

http://www.amazon.co.uk/CrossAction-Rechargeable-T...

Used my £20 gift card so ultimately £37+delivery. Not bad for a £200 toothbrush (I'm looking forward to finding out what makes it worth £200!).
Damnit I have one of these and was meant to buy this to get a nice new one, but the sodding price has gone up £20 since yesterday!

I bought a kindle fire each for the kids. Magnum of champagne for the wife and three bottles of whisky for me.

The kindles I'd bought the week before but took them back to Argos and bought them at the reduced price. The champagne because I was struggling to think of a Christmas present and the whisky just because!

If you spent £7k on a retail £7k ring, they spotted you in the binoculars..

One of them...? Men who aren't wet behind the ears who understand that no matter what you do for a woman, 20 years into a marriage she will, quite happily, get up and walk out. Ruining lives in the progress, for no good reason.
Yep, he must be one of them. (BTW - they're all the same).
If you own a nice house, nice motor paid for and loads of excess cash, then I could half understand, but even then it's still a scandalous amount of money.
