People with loud fking exhaust pipes, especially the ones that have to nail it away from traffic lights, or sit at the lights and constantly blip the throttle, and even worse those on cruisers who seem to be able to generate earsplitting amounts of noise while crawling away at a snails pace, at least the faster ones get out of earshot a bit quicker.

Full discloser: I'm a biker and have non standard cans on my bike which are slightly fruitier than standard. However I'm currently renting a flat in a town and with the current hot weather have had the balcony doors open, and these arses make it pretty tricky to watch TV, I have to keep rewinding to catch the bits I couldn't hear because the traffic lights changed.
People who think it's ok when they do something, but not ok when others do it.

Loud exhausts are something that pretty much everybody grows out of eventually, usually when they start to think about how other people are affected by them. Something that comes with age and wisdom.

The dheads who don't understand how air conditioning works! They don't seem to realise that opening a window on the train lets in hot air.
Odd that a train with a/c has windows you can open.

What route, out of interest? [/trainnerd]
Train from Paddington to Oxford via Hayes & Harlington.

You'd probably have an aneurysm with my Sagaris then. And that's a standard exhaust too (although a non-standard ECU with multiple maps, one of which is somewhat theatrical and very seldom used).

I'm not against a Rorty, snorty 'zorst if the sound emanating from it is inspiring. There's a kid hereabouts has a two wheeler trail bike - like thing with what sounds like zero baffles and it's a feckin' 2 stoke. So every morning, lunchtime and teatime we get...

Nyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

Starts off, gets louder then has minimal doppler then it fades.

I'd dearly love to fix up a giant, pivoted tennis racquet and swat this mechanical mosquito and him. Once. Very hard.

Grrrr

The thread title "Things you always wanted to know the answer to....."
Should read "things to which one wanted to know the answer"

Is the computer generation getting iliterate????

And feckin blind as well, almost flattened one of these brainless pokemon eejits half an hour ago. Seems to think that he doesn't need to look for traffic, stepped off the pavement into moving traffic.... almost a pity he didn't get flattened, would have been another Darwin....

Not having a "fk right off and do not ask me again" button on so much internet stuff. Eg. every time I log in to my Santander or YBS account and start typing in my password I am brought to an abrupt halt as some "security" package fills my entire screen wanting me to download it and do a full system scan or something. mad

The same can be applied to the Java update installer as well which has for as long as I can remember tried to force Yahoo browser and search bar add-on onto me unless I specifically uncheck the box. Why not just leave my default settings alone and if you HAVE to try to force it upon me why not let ME CHOOSE to opt-in, not the other fking way round? mad

My missus not being able to sleep, then being pissed off at me because I moved when I was sleeping and therefore prevented her from sleeping, not my fault you need perfect quietness to sleep.

Or when she wants to spoon, but I breathe a little bit on her, therefore I have to twist my neck to some ridiculous angle to keep her happy.
