People who do a mailshot email to multiple recipients using the "TO" field rather than the "BCC" field and therefore reveal your email address to the other recipients without your consent.
Additionally, people who then hit "Reply All" to complain about it, thus exacerbating the issue.
It's 2017, FFS. How long has email been around?
We had that when I worked for G4S, someone did a "All@G4S" email and then the "reply all" started coming in. Some of the replies were probably worthy of the Walt thread... Additionally, people who then hit "Reply All" to complain about it, thus exacerbating the issue.

"I'm running a live security operation in Iraq and I don't have time to read all these emails as we are at risk of getting shot"
- dont reply then, just ignore then 200 emails that happened in the space of a couple of hours whilst all the herberts went back and forth?

One of my colleagues made the mistake of sending a reply to all asking people not to keep hitting "reply to all".
It took him quite a while to get rid of the 5,000+ out of office notifications that promptly attacked his inbox!

Someone in our German office managed to accidentally insert an "all EMEA" group email address onto an email to a customer a few years back. That went to around 90,000 people in the middle of the Easter holidays.

Sort by subject, select all "autoreply" and delete? One of my colleagues made the mistake of sending a reply to all asking people not to keep hitting "reply to all".

It gets worse if one or more of the recipients have an out of office reply set up, as that can cause a chain reaction and flood the servers....Additionally, people who then hit "Reply All" to complain about it, thus exacerbating the issue.

BTW, the first recognised use of email was in 1971, so roughly 45-46 years in place so far.

Exactly. Which means that even the oldest person still in employment should have no excuse for it. IT types in "can't understand that all work is not necessarily IT-related" assumption shocker.
Open your blinds, look outside. Who do you think actually builds all that you see? And how many emails do you think the bricklayer, concrete floater, or digger driver sends on a day-to-day basis in relation to their work?
Boot on the other foot: When did you get your digger ticket/CPC? Diggers have been around for decades, therefore there is no excuse for you not to have one.

Whenever I've seen it done, it's one of the site guys who types with one finger at a time, not knowing what the hell is going on with some new version of Outlook that he would never have seen before, on a borrowed laptop/ipad. And being understanding types, we don't let it annoy us. It happens. It's no issue to press "delete".

In that case you'll be happy to publish your email address here on this thread then. If you get a load of spam as a result, then it's no issue to press "delete" on them. Friend of mine tried persuading me to get on board with some "network marketing" scheme involving some health products, like Herbalife. Wasted half an hour watching two Americans make a very unconvincing presentation, though it confirmed my suspicions about the whole thing. I just politely told her I don't see myself being passionate about the product, though what I really wanted to say is "it's a massive con and you're a fking mug for buying it." Ah well, she seems enthusiastic about it, bless her, I won't piss on her fire...

Multi-level... like a pyramid is. The whole idea of monetarising your friends really irks me. Any friend who starts to see me as a customer rather than as a friend is probably going to lose me as both, sadly.

Fog lights that come on along with indicators. Which idiot thought of that? Now I can't see your indicators, it just looks like you have a faulty fog light.
Do they come on with indicators in some cars then? The directional lights in my S-Max don't do it by turning the fog light on, but however they do do it, it's triggered by turning the steering wheel, not by using the indicators. You also need to turn the wheel a fair amount before they trigger, so they don't come on on a lane change, for example, even though I am indicating.Kermit power said:

No idea, I haven't driven a car with them on.Kermit power said:

Not on some. I've seen the coming on when people are following the gentle arc on an open road. Terrible idea.Kermit power said:
