You're new here, aren't you.

Tim Farron. Goodness gracious, what a hysterical woman he is. STFU Farron. You're a nobody and nobody cares what you think.

Tiny Tim is, indeed, a pointless laughing stock.

You use the word "woman" like it is an insult. Are you the type of person who refers to something as being "gay" in a negative way too?

Ridiculous web page adverts that are so large and overpowering they increase the time the pages take to download by about 2000%. The latest one is the "Dentek" ad I just got when I did a search on this site!

FFS I understand that sites need advertising money but surely not ones that make the experience on said site infinitely worse.
Photobucket is now totally unusable due to this, it's a ploy to make you pay to go Ad-free, but they can FRO.
The problem is of course I have years and years worth of pics stored on there which I can't get off unless I sit for 3 days manually doing it, unless someone has some kind of software which would do it?

Pay and Display parking.

You either buy too little and feel rushed, or too much and then feel ripped off.
Yes yes
Plus those ones where the ticket is 'non transferable'.
Ooooh, don't get me started!
There is a car park round the back of some local shops that has now been made a pay & display, with a machine that requires you to enter your car reg. number. All well and good, except the keypad is tiny silver/grey buttons with barely visible yellow letters mounted at knee height. This means that this old codger has to kneel down with his arthritic knees in the pi55ing wet puddles on the sunken asphalt to see the fcensoredg tiny things to input the reg whilst squinting at the rain-obscured screen to make sure his podgy finger hasn't accidentally pressed a random key next to the one intended. Fcensoredg twunts! ranting

I'm sure they are making it as difficult as possible so that they can collar more people, using their scamera on a pole to enhance the profits from their theiving PPC business model.

The trouble is, street parking in the area is very hard to find since 98% of it has been allocated "Resident permit parking only", ie no parked cars to be seen all day for 100's of yards up any of the side streets. I'm glad I'm not a local shop owner, trade must have dropped by 80% or so since all this was instigated.

weepingfrown
I feel your pain, when they put these new fangled (proper old fogey nomenclature) machines in our local town centre I was stood at it for about 10 minutes working out how to use it. It has number plate recognition, it then asks me for the reg plate. Do I know what the reg plate is? No idea, trudge off to find vehicle, write it down, go back start again.
By this time quite a queue has formed of similarly disgruntled motorists, one by one on their knees, shading the screen from the light trying to make it work.
What is wrong with pulling ticket out on entry and paying for minutes used on way out??!!

The phrase "Drive carefully". I understand the caring meaning but I always feel like ripping flat out down the driveway and then leaving massive burnout lines up the road* while holding down the horn with one hand and giving the one finger salute in a total tt like fashion.

.* This of course is totally impossible in a 1.6 diesel.

"curated"

Seems to the latest, overused millennial buzzword.

Inevitably the faux intellectualisation of a topic the person doing the 'curating' has no real knowledge of.

Online stores that regularly go in and out of stock but won't let you order anything that isn't in stock "right now". Gah.
You speak of the 'mystic portal' known to mortal man as "Wiggle"?

Me - I'll need some chain joining links in a couple of weeks. I'll just see how much they are and add them to my 'wish list'. £7.99? That's about right.

Wiggle then go 'out of stock' and you cannot order them, but miraculously the price has gone down to £5.24. WooHoo! That's cheap. When I put the order in I'll grab extras for next time.

Then, like clockwork, the item returns to stock and can be ordered. At the previous full price of £7.99...

rage Grrrr!

lately I've been seeing many people use the phrase 'as mad as a box of frogs'. I've no idea where this has popped up but find it to be BS. nothing crazy about frogs in a box.

The bloody screen layout on a forum I regularly visit has been changed with a god awful font and worst of all the link to "My Stuff" has moved relative position at the bottom of each page. So now my muscle memory means I keep moving the mouse to the wrong place.

It's an utterly tiny change but it is utterly infuriating me on every single page.

Go to My Info -> Preferences and change the skin. I've always used PH Classic and recently it got changed to GTI, and I simply changed it back to PH Classic again.

Now, we know you love the forums (as do we) but we know they're not perfect. This is why we've decided to streamline the various "skins" (these gave PHers the ability to modify the look of the forums to their taste) that were previously available on PistonHeads, meaning that only the "GTI" one will be offered going forwards.

I have indeed missed the point, because that's news to me and I'm still using PH Classic and my preferences still gives a droplist of skins.

A couple of days ago it did change to GTI and I simply changed it back to PH Classic again, and I assumed that you had been similarly affected and did not know about skins in the Preferences.
