Drivers at petrol stations who queue for the pump on the same side as the filler. I mean, every single petrol station I have ever been to has a hose that reaches across to the other side. It's not as if they are driving a fking tank.

I know it doesn't affect me, I can just go straight to the free pump, but fk me it's annoying.
Be cool man, it doesn't matter...
That's where you're wrong.

Socialism has broken natural selection. It has allowed the weakest to become the strongest in society. It has encouraged stupidity and given it an evolutionary comfort blanket, allowing it to proliferate rather than die out.

Personal choice, I don't want to pull the hose across my car.

Pull your car forward another 12" then.

Photographs.
Over processed photographs to be more concise. Over processed photographs and the subsequent outpourings of "Ohmigowd wot a luverly pictcherr" by those who don't realise what they're looking at is only a step or two away from being a cartoon and bears little resemblance to what was captured by the camera.

Makes me clench.

Well said. Much fuss was made a few years ago about the dumbing-down of Britain and how we should all be embarrassed. Nothing changes. Simon Cowell has taken advantage of it all, and parents and teachers have combined to make sure our kids get no better in respect of their achievements.

We could of (sic) put the untermensch in their place, now they rule......

What a soulless, drab, boring, humourless, conformed, straight-jacketed, uptight, fun-free world it would be if all the annoyances on this thread were addressed and removed. hehe

Good point. A lot of the pictures on this thread are like that, though maybe not so extreme.

Not a very PH thing to say, but...

On the subject of petrol stations, when you pull up to what appears to be a free pump, only to find it only does V-Power or whatever, and not "normal" 95 unleaded.

Personally, I have no problems if someone wants to queue for a specific pump whilst there are others free, so long as I am able to manoeuvre round them to get to a free pump. Doesn't impact my life one jot.

I might briefly think "more fool them" with a mental shrug, but that is as much thought as I would give it.

"Beyond reason", e-Goebbels. No need to justify, explain, or be logical.

And I don't read it as hypocritical at all. Saying something can't be done is not the same as dismissing it.

In the same way "perfect" does not equal "ideal". wink

That wasn't directed at you, chap. I meant that smartypants was in one post saying that people shouldn't be criticised for their annoyances, and then in the next criticising someone for their annoyance, to the point of calling them a moron.

And talking of offensive terms, "e-Goebbels" is bang out of order and pretty offensive.

Also, the location of the gel dispensers inside the toilets. WTF? I've washed my hands, and rubbed this gel into them. Now I have to touch the handles of not one, but two doors on my way out. I cannot guarantee that everyone before me has washed their hands yuck , so surely locating one of these alcohol gel dispensers OUTSIDE the toilets would be a good idea? Inside it's of limited use anyway as many people don't dry their hands thoroughly after washing and therefore probably don't bother with the gel...
Indeed, I often wonder if there is any point in washing my hands in a public toilet as other filthy bds don't bother, thus leaving remnants of their cock cheese / piss over the handles. I assume that if these dirty buggers don't wash their hands, then I doubt they pay much attention to general hygiene.

Vaping, specifically the people who belch out 40 cubic yards of smoke with every puff.
