Not sure if this is beyond reason but:
The lady (early 40s), who almost ran me over on a zebra crossing in sainsbury's car park on the way into the supermarket.....and who did almost exactly the same to me on my way out as well.
Always think it's nice when someone describes their ex as a 'lady'.The lady (early 40s), who almost ran me over on a zebra crossing in sainsbury's car park on the way into the supermarket.....and who did almost exactly the same to me on my way out as well.
I really hate listening to the radio (normally 5 Live) when all of a sudden they play a trailer for a football game which usually involves commentators shouting as somebody scores. I appreciate that the level of enthusiasm is appropriate when taken in the context of the game, but it really annoys me.

Football "fans" who rant on in the appropriate forum about the performance/non-performance of Jack Wilshere but can't spell his name despite the fact that it's been in the forefront of the game for several years. He is not a county , nor a purveyor of pre-cooked dinners to old people who live with cats and smell of p*ss.
How can you have the gall to vent your wrath and expect agreement when you're clearly a cretin?
(NB I didn't post this on the football forum because I'm a wuss).

People who say "well" when waiting for you to answer.
Had someone at work do this to me when I didn't respond to an instant message within 5 seconds.
Just had some bloke off eBay do it who I'm negotiating a price with as I didn't respond for 10 mins.
Well????
Fook off!

A female staff member in my team just arrived in the office and said, "Oh, look, there's a bee on my desk."
I said, "Don't kill it. They're rare enough."
10 seconds pass .... *thwack*
Me: "WTF?! It wasn't going to sting you! Why couldn't you get a glass or a bit of card and and take it outside?"
Her: *gallic shrug* "Pfff...."
FFS.

Mass hysteria and massive media hype annoys me.
It's sad when anyone dies, whether by natural causes or murder.
The day before the MP was killed one of my students (13 years old) lost her father. He was killed whilst on a pushbike in a head-on with a car. Car driver was charged with DWDCA. She had two younger brothers and a mum who are all devastated and in shock. There was no TV coverage, suspension of duty for work colleagues of the father, mawkish flower displays or contrived eulogies. When I met the mother she could barely hold herself together, but didn't cry or breakdown and behaved with astonishing dignity and determination. The contrast between the above and the media/workplace treatment of the MP who sadly lost her life couldn't be more different. It's sad when anyone dies, whether by natural causes or murder.

I was just thinking that this morning. It's sad when anyone dies, whether by natural causes or murder.
Over £1m raised (for what I don't know), If she'd have asked for that when she was alive it wouldn't have happened, I dunno why people feel the need to throw money at stuff like this.

At least it's all Metric.I always smile at older engineers, ask them to take off .5mm and they'll instantly work backwards and inform you they'll take xxx thou off for you.
I have no idea what a thou is, we've been metric for 45yrs ffs.
