Yodel - You send me a nice email this morning with a tracking link for a parcel that's due to be delivered today. All fine and dandy, but nobody will be in today. Why couldn't you provide me with a feedback link so I can advise the driver where to deliver the parcel? (Designated safe place or helpful neighbour)

So, where do you think my parcel will be when I get home? With a neighbour or on its way back to the depot? Or will I be home in time to receive the parcel? Oh, the mysteries of life...

How fragile are the goods? That will be inversely proportional to the care with which they treat your parcel.

If it has "FRAGILE" stickers or tape on it, then they will say "Challenge Accepted" and play football with it.

(Allegedly).

Courtesy of a quick Google (oo-er) it looks like it's the Communications Act 2003 that provides the legislative background to the Ofcom Broadcasting Code:

http://stakeholders.ofcom.org.uk/broadcasting/broa...

This, in turn, informs the BBC's Editorial Guidelines:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/editorialguidelines/guideline...

Hope that helps. It was certainly an eye-opener for me. Not very exciting reading, though

To give Yodel their due, this parcel was delivered correctly and left in a safe place.

50% of all the roads I drive down at the moment having signs advising of roadworks taking place between July 22nd and
September 4th on them.

Believe it or not, us non-breeders would like a clear journey once in a while y'know!

My girlfriend's cat. I love her (we've got three) but she does not stop fking washing. 2am and I keep getting woken by the sounds of lick, lick, slurp slurp slurp and if I shut her out of the room she cries and paws the door fking relentlessly. I wish I knew why it winds me up so much. Doesn't bother my OH at all. Why can't I be like that? Better yet why can't she be like the other two cats that have a wash and then go to sleep? Grumble grumble whinge moan...

There are people on here who have only the vaguest interest in driving so you aren't alone.
There was a thread in GG about getting less and less enjoyment out of it I think, what's your reason?

Me? droll and obvious: Over populated country.

I think because of the general state of the roads (irony I know when I bemoaned roadworks a couple of posts ago), the number of halfwits who seem to make it their mission to ps off other drivers with their idiocy, and the negative attitude of this country towards those who actually enjoy driving.
