Lat me try to describe this as best I can.

Simply, it's people who park facing oncoming traffic with their headlights on so they are dipped towards the traffic.

Did I make that clear? The're parked on my side of the road instead of their own.In itself that's fair enough but they take no account of the dazzle from their headlights.

Peope who park on pavements so you can't walk past without stepping into the road. Now I've parked with wheels up on the pavement myself but never so close to the wall/hedge as to prevent people getting past in wheel chairs or with buggies. Particular culprit on my dog walking route parks outside their house so that you have to squeeze sideways down between their clapped out Espace and their poorly trimmed hedge whilst their driveway sits empty. Usually I tut and walk on.

Last night took it to a new level. Bin collection today so their bins were out and crammed into the space between the Espace and the hedge, completely blocking the path. Deciding it was time for action I noisily moved both bins to block the drive way and then bent back the mirror on the Espace. Half hoping dimwit would come out to check the commotion.

People who park facing oncoming traffic full stop. Then expect both lanes to stop and let them out. furious

L Plates. You can easily pick up a set of magnetic ones for about 50p, yet a lot of people still use stick on ones that are difficult to remove, so you see solo drivers with the plates still on. Why? Just why?
Magnetic ones tend to fly off when you're doing 95 up a dual carriageway.

So I'm told.

Why would a learner be doing 95 on a dual carriageway ?
And assuming it's not a learner, then surely that's the whole point of magnetic plates - so you can take them off easily when you want a blast ?

I would rather learn how to do 95 on a DC from the font of all knowledge on doing such things (my Dad) than to practise it on my own the first time and get it wrong....

Very annoying. Taxis are often the main culprit (see also incorrect use of hazards). Isn't it illegal or is it just not advised by the HC?

That's fair enough but I'd say the time to 'learn' to do 95 on a dual carriageway would be after you've passed your test.

Vendors who dick around when presented with a £50 note, it's legal currency ffs, just push it into the till and let me get on my way. If i'd given you a fake £10 and two fake £20s you wouldn't have batted an eye.
Legal currency in that it is legally acceptable for paying a debt, but businesses etc are not legally obliged to accept it if they choose not to.

I don't know. It was, I admit, very irresponible of me to do it the person who was supposed to be supervising me to let me.

Thankfully it was many years ago now.

Quite right too. You wouldn't catch me doing anything like that while I was still a learner. Goodness me.

The 'management' can do nothing about this - it's the law.

They can hire temporary cover to fill her role though rather than overloading her co-workers.

The management are directly responsible for making sure the other staff aren't shafted.
