Remaniacal audience members on discussion TV and radio shows, whooping at any anti Brexit remark made by the panellists.
Were you by any chance listening to the Saturday repeat of Any Questions? In fact, anyone who has to qualify or equate any situation that is being discussed to their preferred choice of politics, is annoying, beyond reason. Even when the subject wasn't started on that tack, there's a few people who feel the need to make everything about their perspective on politics.
Leanne Woods - the Plaid leader.
Switch on the Radio this am - there she is 'warning' that Welsh nationalist interests need to be front and centre when dealing with Brexit.
I find warnings issued in the lilting Welsh format carry little to zero threat. Quite apart from the simple fact that Ms Woods is not the leader of any assembly and therefore not really in a threatening position, but hey-ho that's the way of our World.
Perhaps tomorrow we'll hear from the Isle of Sheppey Independence Council, or the Gt Yarmouth Free State.

There are literally thousands of programs, add-ons and apps that will do this or you could just hold the phone the correct way round before shooting.
Whatever way round I hold my phone, the screen rotates to compensate, I (and many, many others) am not aware of this issue of turning the phone round - could you explain? OpulentBob said:

Turn screen rotation off before taking a pic then, numpty ! It's a half second exercise if you have your shortcuts set up right.Old Tyke said:

Numpty, indeed.

'Airplane' instead of 'aeroplane'
Having worked at the airport since I was 18, I quickly started saying "Aircraft" or "plane" because I had this nagging feeling that every time I said "aeroplane" I sounded like I was talking either to a 5 year old, or like a 5 year old. sidekickdmr said:
Talking of deliveries and online ordering, I need something for the weekend, and only the weekend, if it has not arrived by Thursday/ 9am Friday it is of no use to me.
So I pay more, for an item based in the UK that is titled on ebay as "fast and free" delivery, this item cost me £90, so not a £2 wire or anything.
I order it at 7.50am Monday morning, thinking that "fast" would mean a next day, or even 48 hour delivery!
I get the email from them immediately saying order received, get one about 20 mins later to say payment cleared and item being prepared for dispatch, great!
Then nothing, no dispatch/courier note for 2 days, so I just called them to ensure it was arriving today/tomorrow
"sorry sir its still in our warehouse"
ok, is it going out today, next day delivery?
"sorry sir I dont know when its going out, nor how long delivery will take, you can call back tomorrow and see if its been dispatched"
By which time it would be too late, and the item is useless to me, but I would still need to take delivery, probably go to the depot to collect it, print a label and courier it back for a refund.

Should've gone with the explosively-named courier company that I used once. Their express guaranteed next day delivery service only took 32 days.
And many many phone calls and emails and much higher blood pressure than normal.
But in fairness to them, I suppose it is very easy to lose a boxed 6' long stainless exhaust system with an A4 sized address label with letters 3/4" high firmly attached to it.
And they did at least turn up with a large package of flat-pack furniture clearly addressed to somebody miles away.
