If the Queen were to pass, I wonder if Charles would skip his responsibility (what's the word? Can't be abdicate if he hasn't been crowned...)

Anyway, my point being - a future with Charles as the Head of State could well set up a pessimistic atmosphere across the country that may well push many over the edge. Whereas, passing the role down to William could well have the opposite effect: it would give the country some hope for the future, anyway.

My 2p.

No chance I'd say. He has waited decades!

Apparently, it's constitutionally impossible. But it's a nice thought.

Agreed, no chance - and we get trout face as well. Good for William/Kate though to have a bit of life together.

Over the edge? Not trying to start an argument, but could you explain? Do you mean people leaving the country, republican uprising, riots in the streets?

Right, you're on one's list now.

One is sending round the corgis in the morning, and they're hungry. One is advised to run away.

Not a celebrity, but Brian Laban has died. His motoring and motorsport books form the backbone of any serious motoring library. I have several, and have always enjoyed his style.

As alluded to already, the lack of updates regarding Liz are a tad concerning!

Doesn't it strike you as a bit odd that none of us have died?

Odd that.
