Another interested party here. Only for one though. Assuming I could fit it in a Mondeo estate!

They'd have to be first class ones. Have you ever tried those horrible cattle class ones.

They are indeed in the north west. Here's a picture. They are from a commuter aircraft so not exactly first class, but having tried them I can say they are ridiculously comfy compared to most airline seats! The light smattering of airborne sawdust is nothing a quick hoovering won't sort.

If you're serious, PM me and I'll pass his contact details onto you smile
PM sent squire 😃

Have a look on Facebook for a guy called Stu-art aviation furniture, he's an aerospace engineer I know who now upcycles old aircraft bits.

Just spoken to the chap, he says £10 per seat (i.e. individual seat, not per frame set) is what he would consider a reasonable price. I don't think that would include delivery.

If anyone PM's me I will pass you his number, I haven't had any messages through as of yet.

If they came as singles I would love one to put in front of my PC,and pretend its a proper plane smile
But I suspect SWMBO would have other ideas

Im pretty sure there would be many takers at £10 for each seat collected, i would pay double that ie £40 for the double seats in the pic, only i,m in the midlands, too far away, could be a nice little earner.

Whereabouts are the seats? I'd take a couple off your hands if local to the north west? Would be just the ticket for my man cavesmile
FFS...why can't you just say "to sit on", like any normal person? We don't wish to know about your ahole, thank you very much...

Just had a flash of inspiration.

You know how, sometimes, there's nowhere to sit on a train?

If you take one of those with you, you could sit down.

I can see a whole new market opening up here...

I'll have a pair/frame at that - sent you a PM last night, and it said it would send as an email or something?? Will try again now

Edit to Add:
I'm sending PM by clicking on ChemicalChaos's name, then clicking the "Email Me" button - is that the right way of doing it??

Yes, sends a message straight to your PH registered email inbox (or junk folder).

Sometimes it's borked though.

Sell them to http://www.looptworks.com. They make luggage from used airline seats.
