...possible she might never speak to you again, actually
If it werent for the kids, id tell her to do one..

And honestly, once the kids are out of his house, if i ever meet him again hes getting punched, not because of her, but because of all the badmouthing of me he did a few months back

Either way, wont see the ex face to face till thursday (kids will be spending the evening/night with me), until then she's getting ignored

now its time for stag scotch thurssunday. Tonight experiments include finding out how much booze i need to stomach the new top gear drink

Not bad positioning after 10 years.

Layby is named Prolex in the Aosta valley.
EvoDelta likes this.

I'll be joining Vitorio shortly on the whiskey. A nice Balvenie Doublewood. Currently on Brugse Zot drink

I'm also looking forward to Top Gear.

Good man!

Wouldve started on beer if i had any, but i was out, and shops closed by the time i dropped off the kids. Just had an Aberlour 12 double cask whilst mulling over stickering up the car for LM. I do like the idea, but i know ill feel like a tit driving around town with those stickers over here.. dutch people are fking boring when it comes to cars etc.. everything is standard and black/grey/blue, and i dont feel like my paltry 1.6 really warrants loads of stickers. (conversely, if i had a GTA i wouldnt dare defile it.)

Not one single new idea on TGI Top Gear just yet. Even the Clarksonisms are a pale imitation. Oh well, the pub calls me.

Not very impressed so far, kind of dissapointed that they didnt get to choose their own cars for the roadtrip, no real connection with the cars, and no "as you'd expect ive done this properly" banter.

And the whole two stars in a brand new rally car bit is quite forced and unfunny

I'm going to ignore all Top Gear threads.

I don't like negativity.

So it's not much different from the previous iteration.

Can't wait for the bile when Harris appears.

Yes.I used to poke fun at the I love CH posts here but I don't dislike the man.

And no,I didn't switch over to the Soap awards.

Its just finished, and ill be fair and reserve final judgement until after a few episodes, both the hosts and writers are obviously still getting used to it all, and it still ended up as probably the only thing outside of live motorsports ill watch on the telly.

But man, i do wonder if CE was the right pick for the main guy, his voice just doesnt work well for me, and the whole US/UK stuff felt kinda forced, i hope they dont milk that for the sake of having a US host on the show

Did like Matts nomand bit a lot though, not quite up to old TG level, but showing a lot of potential

Twice I've tried to reply to Evo liking my 2 pics on previous page but stupid dongle/laptop is preventing me from doing so.

If it's not the useless phone,it's the useless laptop.

Cheers! ive had two generous pours of the Aberlour, and a double finlagan to finish it off, i honestly am not sure whether standing up is a good idea right now

Good book by the way, havent read it (yet), but the movie is excellent, compared to many many near future scifi stuff the physics actually work, which goes a long way for me

I had to look up Duncan Hamilton's Wiki.

I wanted to know how old he was or indeed if he was still with us.

He's not.

Would have been 96yo if he was.

Duncan is not related to Lewis AFAIK.

Duncan Hamilton wrote one of the best - if not the best - motor racing autobiography, Touch Wood.

He also forms part of my alter ego, Rolt Hamilton.
