Remember I read that book on holiday.

At the end he mentioned him and his Mrs had had their 70th birthdays.

I suspected that was sometime ago and was right as he dies at age 74 in 1994.

BTW I took my protein pills and put my helmet on first.

Gotcha. I need more notice that someone has taken any notice of something I've said.

Well, to formally publicize the results of last nights "how drunk do i have to be to like new TG":

- i had roughly 5-6 drams of scotch, all 40% strength AFAIK
- Matt solo was decent, Chris intolerable in any form
- writing/script far too forced and unfunny

I think we can conclude that Matt solo is a 1 scotch act right now, to be gently sipped whilst being amused. Chris is at the very least a 6+ scotch act, and considering how i felt this morning, i dont feel like investigating further, not when i have to work the next day anyway.

Now off to start the day with a cup of tea, chocy croissants and my traditional Scooter morning anthem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04r76q5A66Q

I'm at Oulton Park for the GT racing. A bit of a contrast to the machinery on display yesterday at Smallwood Vintage Rally!

On the subject of GTs, reading the program I learned that last year's British GT4 championship was won by a 17 year old girl.
Massive congratulations to her and I hope she goes far, but it doesn't half make me a) feel old, b) slightly envious, and c) wonder what the hell I've done with my life....

She also has a boys name ....Jamie....confusing.

In non spoiler alerts.

Don't know whether to put this in rotting thread.
It's very dusty.
Sure I saw this here in previous years but didn't clock it as a Cos because it's most distinguishing feature is deleted.
It's an aero delete Martini model.
Italy didn't have Montes.

Is also the much more drivable small turbo judging by the wing mirrors. Needs rescuing.

Cos beard alert.

Has the big turbo badges on tailgate too.

But should be a small turbo with fuel filler flap and small mirrors as you said.

It's parked at a body shop and front bumper isn't present.
It's not smashed up AFAIK.

Been down the seafront already today to see the local club's "car show". Bit grandiose, that. About twenty cars does not a show make. But it was more interesting than octogenarians throwing cheese and cress sandwiches to the seagulls which is all you normally see on the prom, and I got to see an Audi 1000 SP cabriolet, which I don't believe I've ever seen outside of picktchers before

That's fairly typical.

They're just not getting used at all to preserve their value.

Cars are to be DRIVEN .

I drove mine loads.......and it broke .

Polaris Grey is also a rare colour.

There's an idiot trolling in the Barchetta section of Fiat forum.

He apparently owns one too.

It's usually such a nice,calm place.

I'm out !

This is PH, Iva, you should be well used to that behavior by now!

Speaking of Barchettas, how many miles have you put on yours? Must be a fair few at this stage!

In trvival news, my Fiesta ticked over 18,000 miles last week. Not bad going for just over a years ownership. Well, 15/16 months or so.

I've put about 35,000 miles on mine now Alex.

Takes me ages to work out the total miles as it had a KM odometer originally.

BTW I meant the Fiat forum website, not the PH Fiat section.

The rage is back again...

Yet another wheepy phonecall by the ex, which ended abruptly with her hanging up after i started to speak my mind. The feeble is going all down despite actually working on getting away from her more recent ex, and im starting to worry about the kids..

I dont often truly regret things, but getting together with her is a very strong contender
