Slept very badly, have a workshop this evening after work, and this week will be a busy one anyway... I need a vacation.

Just dropped the Aston off for its annual poke and prod. Seems to be an expensive month for doing car stuff. For some reason they weren't expecting me until tomorrow - either my diary is wrong or their's is. (Probably mine! laugh ) Oh well, no biggie. I've got daughter's car here for a few days more so won't be wearing out the shoe leather just yet.

Roll up TTers, it's time for a Monday morning freebie giveaway. This may only appeal to one of the female types in your life, although I'm not forgetting our own TT ladypersons of course. But if there's a wife/girlfriend/sister/daughter/friend who is free on Saturday 9th July then read on.

On offer is a pair of tickets to see Take That at the BST Hyde Park festival. Also on stage are musical luminaries such as Olly Murs, Ella Eyre, Jamie Lawson, Nathan Sykes, Grace, Bright Light Bright Light, Ekkah, KStewart, Jerry Williams, Girl Friend, Allie X and Sam Wills. (Nope, no idea either - but I'm old.)

Gates open at 1PM but these tickets allow priority entry from midday at the South Entrance so you can pick your spot by the stage/bar/toilets as required. As the above link suggests this is being held in Hyde Park in that there London Town and you'd have to make your own way there, but there are various Tube stations dotted around for easy access.

These are completely free and will be given away as a pair to a regular TT contributor on a first come first basis via the PH PM. I'll chuck 'em in the post to an address of your choice, but please don't just stick them on Ebay. (I won't tell anyone if you want to go yourself rather than passing them on to female girlie woman.)

I had originally bought them as a mid-summer treat for my daughter, but a friend of her mother had a similar thought and organised a girls day out to the same event, hence these two tickets going spare. Can you use them?

I would, but unfortunately I can't stand Allie X or Sam Wills, so I'll have to decline.

As I mentioned a few weeks ago, never been to a gig or festival.

Perhaps I should go ?

Only heard of the first 3 acts listed too.

Who would I take with ?

Back to wurk today, booooooo frown

Felt a bit more kindly diposed to Goodwood after the Sunday, but still slightly meh about it. First year I've ever felt disappointed ... and that includes the year we were thrown out (extraordinarily politely) into a thunderstorm from Lord March's vestibule by a liveried flunky hehe Normally that would have got my usually inflamed Social Injustice Gland overflowing, but somehow it seemed just part of the whole FoS thing

Daughter went to a similar open air festival thingy last year. Apparently when an "old screeching woman" started her act she went off to find the bar along with many others.

That old screechy woman would be Grace Jones. laugh

Is it wrong that I'm quite tickled about the prospect of a TT outing to see TT?
