Don't worry, at least you have the Grand Prix qualifying to help you sleep smile

Morning all!

I kinda need to get my ass in gear today and do something useful, but im waiting for someone to come pick some random bauble up, so im procrastinating getting out of my chair right now..

Did already do my shopping, food (and beer!) is taken care off, next trip will be DIY store.

I'm surprisingly awake seeing as I've had a quick nap only this morning ,had very little sleep on

Wednesday too but got a good sleep in on Thursday night, luckily.

Might be a different matter this afternoon...

That's nothing. In the Banter Thread I'm in Terry Scott Memorial Hall on the way home from Hartlepool performing my Peruvian Dance of the Harvest of the Sweet Potato. With few aids, I must add. I'll improvise.

Less than a minute after leaving the berth at Calais car alarm went off on a Volvo XC90 parked out the front

in open air ,it whooped for a couple of minutes before stopping.

5 minutes later there was now 3 cars going off, to be joined shortly after by 2 more to make 5 in total.

Ferry operator tell you to not set alarm for voyage.

I suppose some cars just do it automatically.

In fact, I'm at a school in Reading watching Granddaughter #2 in a dance competition. There's a notice on the back of the toilet door inviting me to leave these facilities as I would like to find them. To be clear, are they asking me to refit and decorate throughout?

Took a nap (apparently my body is still synched to F1 sessions, despite me not watching them anymore), woke up out of a dream about booze, walked to liquor store, bought a Spanish brandy which i shall be trying later tonight.

At Dover on Wednesday, with an hour hold up,I chatted to a stag do party of 7 scotsmen, they were also in a banger rally to Monte Carlo.
Using a SAAB 9-5 estate, which had lost all boost,a Vauxhall Omega with something wrong with the locking system and a Fiat Doblo with 250,000 miles on it.
Great bunch of blokes and the "stag" was really into my cosworth story as he has a Focus RS MK2 painted purple.....at home in Kilmarnock Ayrshire.

The cars were decorated,I only took a pic of the Doblo.

Lights up the pillars n all sorts of stuff.
The SAAB was plastered with playing cards, should've taken a pic before too dark....irked
