We have a new kettle.

Gone are the leaks and electrical catastrophe potential.

Well, not entirely I suppose as some caution will still have to be exercised.

What I'm saying is the odds are now more in our favour then they were with a dodgy kettle.

Okay.

Shutting up now.

Morning.

Dog's day; sleep till late . Rise. Stretch. Yawn. Look at owner expectantly. Get fed. Get tickled. Get ears scratched. Wag tail approvingly. Fart in general direction of cat. Go for walk. Run. Chase rabbit over fields. Give owner a good run. Get scolded. Sit looking sad. Get ears tickled again. Sleep. More food. Sleep. Fart in general direction of cat, just to make sure it's still alive. Move closer to fire. Sleep. Sleep. Sleep.

Dog day seems not that bad to me.
Well, good to know that you love it. Enjoy yourself.

Well good morning.

Today I have access to a vehicle that requires a phone number to activate, a pin code and confirmation of my status...

Though this is less double ooh seven and more tranny-oh-van.

Have already purchased obligatory sun newspaper and gathered all appropriate rubbish to strew over floor, as is the 'van drivers code' in such matters.

No doubt you've heard me complain about random career suggestions that I'm sent by recruiters with ambitious key word search programmes. Today's sole offering is:

Technical Author Military Safety Equipment.

Ideal for a Cad draughtsman in oil and gas.

Not that I have much room to take the mickey with my poor English skills wink

Still managing to keep my healthy eating and exercise going, just waiting for my lunch of 2 poached eggs on brown toast to settle then back to the gym for another session. I reckon 15k on the bikes and then either 20 mins on the treadmill or the crosstrainer depending which is available.

myfitnesspal has been very interesting this last week. I've set myself a target of 1400 cals a day and added to that about 800cals of cardo cycling 6 times a week. So far it's averaging out about 1kg a week weight loss. I should have done this years ago. One thing I have found interesting is the reporting side of it, particularly trying to balance calories with nutritional needs, particularly calcium intake.

if you're not using it, give it a try. It's well worth the time to set it up and use it.

I was thinking about it but wasnt sure how well it worked with doing Slimming World, some of the foods you are allowed to eat, and amount of food you are allowed to eat are pretty surprising, it goes against what you might think is logical but it works, my first week back at doing it I lost 3.5lb
