Greetings Troops.
Today, after 32 years sat in front of a PC with a phone glued to my lug (OK OK I got the occasional toilet break ), I have 'retired' myself from the corporate-grind.
I'm equally relieved, excited and elated. I'm also pooping my shorts that I'll go a bit mad without the structure of it all.
Month-long European road-trip launches on May 13th so that'll be nice. Going to try to obtain a tennis-coach qualification too.
Outwith the above, anyone need their windows cleaned?
If you happen to come by northern france at the beginning of your trip i do believe they have some race thing going on the 17th or 18th around there, might be worth checking out Today, after 32 years sat in front of a PC with a phone glued to my lug (OK OK I got the occasional toilet break ), I have 'retired' myself from the corporate-grind.

Wow, that's pretty exciting, good luck.
If you're passing the ring on your trip let me know and you can buy me a beer.
Thankyou Sir. I shall be passing the ring on the 14th/15th and if our somewhat packed-schedule permits, I will indeed happily buy you a 'half' If you're passing the ring on your trip let me know and you can buy me a beer.
'passing the ring' made me chuckle BTW. Because childishness in ones 50's matters!

It's this kind of info-reminder that makes me regret encouraging Mrs A to play a part in the planning... Next year!

Will be in touch and enjoy Crete. I've heard it's lovely.
In other trivial news, Dutchman notifies british car enthusiast forum that he has acquired a ticket to a showing of Captain Colonial (america) this afternoon, only Frenchness involved is the fact that the derv will be part of my route back home, no italian/german content either, unless i decide to order a pizza despite being skint.

It'll probably be busy and noisy. Good luck!
Doubt it will, went over during my lunchbreak to grab a ticket (so i could get a good seat), and while the movie premiered yesterday, and its rolling in the biggest room, there were only like 20-30 seats taken from the looks of the seat-picking screen. My guess is that going to a showing right before dinnertime is a good way to skip the crowds, although i might walk out of there quite hungry The movie better be noisy though, im not going to a marvel superhero movie to be intellectually challenged by thought provoking subtleties.
