What an amusing childhood you must have had
You mean, let me understand this cause, ya know maybe it's me, I'm a little fked up maybe, but dad's funny how, I mean funny like a clown, he amuses you? He makes you laugh, Dad's here to fkin' amuse you? What do you mean funny, funny how? How is my Dad funny?I'll get my coat.
Went to the local kart-track today
The place was filled with kids, dads and first timers, so i only did one heat. Aggressively weaving through traffic is fun though, the slowed down karts (limited top speeds) make for interesting moving chicanes, and the inexperienced fast ones make for interesting overtaking practice.

Yo.
It's the time of the evening when I remember what I wanted to post earlier but forgot.
How much does a DB5 Volante go for nowadays ?500K ?.more ?...saw one in the traffic up to Tolworth Tower this morning.
Dark blue metallic,hood down,a beauty.
Thought it was a DB4 till I saw a 5 on the boot.

Yeeeesss.One of my fav cars
The Volante's are around £1.5mil
And no.
Mostly no.
You see, here's the thing. There wasn't a DB5 Volante. The DB5 convertibles were called "DB5 Convertibles." And this is the point at which the confusion commences. When the DB6 Saloon was introduced, Aston Martin had 37 unused DB5 chassis. These were made into the first Astons to bear the name Volante. Because they were shorter than the DB6, and hence shorter than the DB6 Volante would be, they became known as the "Short Chassis Volante." No mention of DB5. Short Chassis Volante; that's it.
There's a similar thing with the DBS. You don't say, "DBS6." You do say of its successor, "DBS V8," because that distinguishes it from the DBS. The DBS has a six cylinder engine and the DBS V8 has a V8.
You follow? I'll be asking questions.
