I am soooooooooooo wishing I never started stripping down the Rex. So many bits of shameful bodgery that I can never just put back together as they are. I'd never sleep again grumpy

Like, at what point in a tuner's life does he get so jaded with life that he's able to think "st, I made the mounts on the fuel rail too short, it won't fit over the injectors and clamp down... scratchchin I know! I'll put in four washers per mount to space it up a bit. That'll work"

banghead Washers? Seriously? like, not even a 6mm spacer but a stack of washers? irked

Forgive them. It was a resourceful solution to a fuel starvation problem twelve hours into a dark and wet Le Mans.

They're showing my second favourite Big Bang Theory episode now,the one where Penny has to Divorce Zak.

Sheldon gets drunk with Bernie's dad......pigging hilarious.

It was warm today. Prosthetics when it's hot are no craic.

On the plus side, sun is a glorious thing, I'm almost done with uni and I (maybe) have a date this weekend.

I guess you've lost quite a bit of the ability to regulate body heat. An ice cold beer may or may not help in that situation, consult your doctor.
Mind you, I seem to recall a photo of you in an inflatable paddling pool from a while ago. Last year, year before?

It's the Sixth of May. That's the date taken care of.

Now, what's this nonsense about uni? You were always studying, Alex. On occasions I had to physically drag you away from books and stuff to get food and drink into you.

I don't want to hear any more of that negative talk.

Interesting, you got any amputee mates? You're very much correct, but it's not something many people know about. The paddling pool was the year before, that was qualit that was.

Dicky, I'm perilously close to actually passing second year! It'll be A Very Big Deal if I do, drinks all round.

Not trivial to me at any rate.

Here's my second ever 100+ score...100.6 after two and a bit years' trying. Scored 100.5 last week.

If you're interested the specs are...

.22 LR bullets at 25 yards from a heavy barrel Anschutz model 1813 Sport Match with a dodgy Tasco scope 4-32×50 (at 14x). Bench rest, standard NSRA 10-spot target.

Yippee!

Ah, no. The only exposure I have is what you have shared with us in the past on here and (to my chagrin) a solitary episode of QI where they debunked the myth about hats and supposedly the head being the part that loses heat the quickest.
Strange what sinks in.
