Went to Duxford. The consecutive number plate turned up directly after me and parked next door. Never met him before.

When you make me one, could we compromise? Could I have HP on one deck and red sauce on one of the others?
If you must.
Saturday morning ok for you? You can stay in bed, I'll bring it up...

Evening chaps!

Had a pretty murderous day in terms of stuff going on, but just finished the last on the to do list.

Will be handing in the company derv tomorrow morning, and so the Alfa experiment begins in ernest. On that subject, today whilst showing it off to my dad i found out that the DS rear seatbelt is broken and has been replaced by a two-point belt... not exactly ideal for transporting my kids. The oldest can sit in the front for now, but a new three point belt will be on the list.

Well, laying a vinyl floor is time consuming and fiddly in a smallish bathroom. I recommend a very very sharp knife.

ION, just out of curiosity, does anyone else here have Sunday lunch? I mean the proper sit down and meat and two veg scoff.

Tired but awake kids are terrible back seat drivers. I left my hoodie in pizza express and as we were rattling out of town at a fair clip I realised this. Knowing there was a roundabout ahead to turn around I just carried on. Meanwhile the kid is going "hey you could have turned around there... or there... or there"... mate, if you're so alert you should be telling me I've left my top behind before we even get in the car.

Can't believe I'm having my clever comeback answers to a 6 year old hours after the fact. I have had a long pleasant day and I guess I didn't have sufficient vitriol to reply quickly earlier.

Glue takes a while to dry too. I recall soles sticking to a hallway carpet...

Nightshift is a pain in the hoop.

Don't mind the anti-social hours, more the fact that the food we're given is crap. Tonight's midnight lunch had no veg, just left over, dry, steak and salty lasagne

I distinctly remember posting in this 5 hours ago...

I am making a habit of half-typing responses, getting distracted and shutting my PC off

EDIT: hold on, did post, but in the nightshift thread...

Im not entirely awake yet

I've upgraded the earth spike on the electric fence, big improvement! It's now fully lighting up the fence tester to 10,000 volts.

Huge temptation to touch it. Just to see.
