Tell us something really trivial about your life (Vol 27)
Discussion
My Barchetta count in Europe was reasonable,4.
First in Germany, outside a Fiat dealer,of all places.
Second,a mauve one,a rare colour, pulled onto autobahn way ahead of me,I tryed to catch up but he exited at the next junction.
This was also in Germany ,way down south.
Third was a silver car,in Italy ,saw it twice whilst watching the Mille Miglia pass 2.5 kms from Poggibonsi.
Fourth car was black,Dutch registered ,seen in the same location as the silver car.....
I got pics of 3 of them.

I see we have to have some new badges made up:
"I've been to the Alfa Museum" and
"I have a wasp nest in my trousers"
They're a bit long. Will you be able to sew them on?

Mind you, if you do manage to sew them on you'll automatically qualify for the sewing badge.
It's all good.
If there are sewing bees are there sewing wasps? It's all good.

I saw a Barchetta today. It was red, mostly. I think every panel had different shade from bright pillar box to sun-faded pink.
Ah the joys of having a red car. I had a Clio many years ago in red, well I say red, it was all shades of the spectrum having been in the sun for about 5 minutes.Good going on the Barchetta spots.
I managed to read the book I took away with me from start to finish, which is always the best method.
"Touch Wood" ,autobiography of Duncan Hamilton,1953 Le Mans winner.
Excellent read ,as recommended by "Fail here" I believe, also quite sad as he mentions so many drivers killed
on the tracks, many of them friends of his.
And then at the end he's absolutely devastated at the death of his great friend Mike Hawthorn.
Amazing he survived so many plane and car crashes as detailed in the book.
