It would be difficult to balance it on a single tyre though.

On the plus side I should be meeting up with a fellow PHer in Guernsey, he has rather a nice collection of cars lick
Your role is to find something trivial to say about each car in his collection for our delectation afterwards. A cigarette butt in the rear ashtray of the Terraplane was of a Turkish brand that ceased manufacture in 1937 suggesting it had been there since the car was comparatively new. That sort of thing.

Bit difficult with an M3, RS4 and a 911.

Oh, come now, trivia didn't end with the outbreak of hostilities in 1939. Do your best with what you have. For example, the production line at the refurbished BMW factory was built by a ski lift manufacturer but the one at the Audi factory wasn't. If you're not equal to the task you must say. Trivia, man, trivia.

Ill also settling for knowing the name of the fellow who bolted the engine in the m3, let's say Hans or Jurgen you know? And perhaps whether they had a moustache.

As for tires... the left rear on my 147 has a rather nasty flat spot. I just feel replacing it (and presumably the other rear, as vredestein hi-trac 2s are gone everywhere) is a bit of a pricey fix right now, i will be getting my car budget starting next month from work...

But i dont fancy driving around with the rear tire going "wump wump wump wump wump" all the time.

Are you sure that you aren't being followed by a Chinook? They go whump whump whump.

I have just read that the Germans surrendered 1 day after Chuck Norris was born. So he won the European war aged about 18 hours old

Steady on, old boy. "Alfa 147" is code for Chinook. You never know who's listening. Mum's the word. Walls have ears.

Walked to the village.

Someone has crashed into a fence off the dual carriageway,no idea how you can crash there .

Also seems we're getting a Dominos pizza outlet too.

Daughter is still in Italy and will be away until Monday at least (maybe longer depending on the French fuel situation and the fact that their minibus is electronically limited to 65mph - they're more gutted about that than the prospect of grinding to a halt before their overnight stay in Reims).

I've taken the opportunity to give her car a wash and a polish as this is the first time I've been able to inspect the paint since its trip to the paint shop last month. What they've done is ok apart from one slightly dodgy area of masking around the grille, but after almost 60k miles the whole car is starting to look a bit battle worn. Every panel except the driver's door has got at least one minor car park dink or marked paint on it. Nothing serious and it does polish up to a lovely shine now its been mopped, but these tiny little (and they are tiny) blemishes annoy me.

Might be, our airforce has them, and the whump whump goes faster when i speed up, which makes sense considering they'd have to throttle up to keep up with me...

In other news... The ex just called me to cry and bh about how she doesnt know how to get out of the st she got herself into... I shall have to be careful to nip this st in the bud, because it is ruining my mood at record speed.

The weekend is tiring enough (got the kids for myself the whole weekend) without that crap taking up mindspace.
