Thanks chaos.It's a beauty.

Saw a few Fiat 124 spyders and coupes in Italy ,without the later Bertone federal bumpers.

And from JAYB's comment, saw 6 Dutch Ferraris in the Porsche museum car park.
One had 'FAST FIAT" on its side.

Saw all of them again in Brescia the very next day too.

This one.

I initially thought they were Evoras. paperbag

But I do like those Fiat Spiders. A friend's dad had one years (many, many years) ago and it was my first up close and personal introduction to the exotic world of LHD cars.

Rage somewhat subsided

Used the anger to actually do something useful, cleaned out all the paintings out of the hallways (took out screws and filled up holes) and removed the comedy plastic multicolor chandelier (what a horrid thing that was) and replaced it with a pair of subdued halo spots. Also booked the car in for two fresh rear tires, as the ones on there are badly cupped (wump wump wump, drat, must be one of those pesky chinooks following me again)

Then ex called again, she actually wasnt whiney, just doing her homework for the social services meetup, told her im fine with thinking along, but wont listen to the whinging about the other bloke, she was OK with that, so ground gained!

Also just bought deadpool on google play, so now its off to the telly!

Had a great day today marshalling at Blyton park today, it was a sprint that my club co organised, a wide selection of cars from a standard looking ford KA, a mental mid-engined turbo charged space framed thing that looked like a mini, several caterhams/westfields etc. And just for IVA there was escort cosworth being driven fairly hard.

That thing I've been looking for since I got home ?

I finally found it.

It was 'only" my drivers card, fairly certain I couldn't drive without it.
I was going to turn up tomorrow without it.

Would've gone down like a lead balloon as another driver is off this week, exotic holiday,in Plymouth.

Bit relieved....yes

Jeez, why are people so angry about everything on this site? Such an unpleasant morass of vitriol and hate to wade through. Like, why watch a television programme when you've decided months ago you're going to hate it? Just so you can RAGE about it to fictitious people on an internet forum?

Read thread, got upset, gave in to inner troll. Feel dirty and debased, but goooooooood. Off to eat billy goats trip-trapping over my bridge now.

You talking about Top Gear Nik ?

People do get over emotional over it.

New series isn't great but I'll give it more time before switching to Songs of praise or summat.

Isn't it more the case that people seem to be very angry in general these days and this site just gives them an outlet? I don't understand it either, but I guess I overreact to some things too on occasion.

I really don't understand the people that are consistently angry about everything, usually if I lose my temper I regret it very soon afterwards and try and stay anger free for as long as possible afterwards.

As for the new Top Gear, I thought it was ok. Matt was much better than I had expected, Evans much worse. I can live with it. Strangely enough, the thing that annoyed me the most is Evans 'getting away' from Sabine. Of course that is just what was in the script, but you'd think they'd make half an effort to make it even a little believable. Oh well, I won't lose sleep over it.

Dude, if anyone has a right to be angry about life and stuff, it's you. Compared to what you've overcome, getting peevish about a car programme seems kinda trivial.

Ooooh, right place then biglaugh

Ahh, but you see being angry about things that it's reasonable to be angry about is no fun. The real trick is to get annoyed at the most trivial thing possible and then regret wasting time on being annoyed later biggrin

Hence us having this discussion on this very thread hehe

Cheers all!

Cheers! ive had two generous pours of the Aberlour, and a double finlagan to finish it off, i honestly am not sure whether standing up is a good idea right now

Good book by the way, havent read it (yet), but the movie is excellent, compared to many many near future scifi stuff the physics actually work, which goes a long way for me
Haven't watched the film, or read the book.

Not watched the new TG either, too busy working (and TV aerial is awful there, signal goes on and off).

Yet to open a bottle of Bacardi Carta Negra (which I bought on Friday)... eek

In a onesie or on a mobility scooter?

We've seen the pictures. We know about Walmart customers.

Just taken the hund for a hobble and been serenaded by a foghorn duet; Cloch and Toward are duelling it out. Inversion fog FTW.

That is pretty much it for me. Although life is definitely getting better by the day, some days st just creeps up on my and hits me in the back of the head all at once, and i dont have that many people to talk to (on this level anyway), so venting here is one of the few outlets i have.

On topic, today my breakfast is chocy croissants (again, love the things) english blend tea and some grapes for after. Im also pretty pleased with my progress with the hallway yesterday, ill try to keep it up and do something useful tonight again (not sure if that will happen though, as i should be grabbing a few pints with some mates from work)
