Je Suis on a no food diet, have not eaten since yesterday, determined to drop a stone, feel like st and mentally feel like death!
You're doing good something very stupid. FFS eat something substantial and lose weight sensibly. A stone is easy on 1500 cals a day and a bit more exercise. What you're doing is just dumb. Stop it now.Iva Barchetta said:
I'm trying to lose a bit of spare tyre by cutting out snacks.
Failing tonight.
More exercise would be beneficial too.
that's fine as long as you average out to a calorie deficit at the end of the week/month etc. of course the bigger that deficit the more you'll lose within a time frame.Failing tonight.
More exercise would be beneficial too.

I frequently have days where I forget to eat, never forget to drink though. I have accidentally poured myself a glass of wine for breakfast before now and it seems such a shame to waste it, it just means another no driving day.I have lost a stone since retiring, however I don't think that is down to missing meals more down to doing a lot more physical activity than my former days spent sitting, arguing in an office.
Learnt some interesting things yesterday and today, I knew my great grandfather had served in ww1 in the K.O.Y.L.I, but yesterday my brother posted a picture of his medals on fb and in the chat since then I have found out his service number. As far as I can tell he was in the 12th battalion which were a miners battalion and it looks like he may well have been at a place called Serre at the north end of the Somme battlefield.

Despite many First War Army service records being lost in the Second War - ironically - in a fire during the Blitz, many survive and are in the National Archives in Kew. His number should be engraved on the edge of his medals. Once you have anything Kew have on him, contact his Regiment with what you've found and they will almost undoubtedly be able to help. After several amalgamations, the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry as was are now part of The Rifles.
