What about the camp fire?
No it's a very butch fire in the tower, the camp fire is the one, with a bobble fringe on the mantle-shelf, in the morning room,

I'm going to get the bus to work tomorrow - I've not done that, well, ever. I'm 40.

I suspect I'm going to hate it and get travel sick and wish I'd walked just that bit further and just caught the sodding train...

It appears there is a world shortage of silicone rubber. Ordered hose for heater matrix. Nothing. Email. Nothing. Email again. Out of stock. Refund. Try another company. Out of stock. Finally swallow pride and resolve to pay Tweeks Tax becos at least it'll be in stock. Nothing. More nothing. Find automatic email in spam filter. Out of stock till mid-August.

Who the smeg is using all this 16mm red superflex coolant hose? grumpy Is Liberace re-plumbing his mansion or something?

Just a thought, but, if you aren't traveling until tomorrow, why not walk just that bit further and catch the sodding train? idea

Public transport....shudder.

ION.....AO......had a look under the Fiesta bonnet, still no idea where the ports are for gassing the AC...

Still having trouble summoning up the smilies box, perhaps they're on backorder too.

It has many reasons and upsides (believe me)...
1. Parking in Leeds is hellish - Although at £4.70 a day, it's not awful except I need to have exact change all the time
2. I can have a beer after work
3. It's a damned sight less stressful than fighting my way through traffic - I know the bus will still be sat in traffic, but I'll be calmer about it
4. If, however, the bus does not work, I'll just use the train instead smile

Train....[/shudder]

I thought the Random Excuse Generator had excelled itself two days back when it started announcing cancelled trains due to a sinkhole. Inventive, I thought. Usually it confines itself to made-up gibberish about lack of available train crew or signalling problems. Nope...

...it's actually an actual sinkhole yikes

ps. smiley box works fine. tongue out

Not me. I'm currently saving myself £197 by replacing the bottom hose on Mrs C's SLK.

Two hours' labour plus parts.

Two hours to replace a hose? In a Mercedes specialist?

Eejits.
