Cosmetically aged with the patina of extreme use and battle scars, mechanically perfect.

A bit like my goodself apart from the mechanical condition.

Yep....the 3rd Historics auction this year.

The Marina pickup sold for more than double the Barchetta....irked

£6000 and £2875.

Pickup was spotless though.

Most of the supercars didn't sell, estimates too high.

NSX did well and a fake but nice looking Countach flopped at £29K.

Good. The market has peaked. Leave it a while for the realisation to hit the owners and then buy your (fill in most desirable car here).

Looks busy at the auction. Were they all abducted as well as Iva.

Frank Cannon P.I. brought along his Lincoln collection.

This 450S recreation sold for £80,000.

Real one would be £4M apparently.

Liking a Lister Le Mans.

At £29,000

I would think the Harrier in the background had some role in whatever nefarious actions were taking place?

I've been to hundreds of auctions over the years and have never seen a bloody jump jet for sale.

That was my transport for the day.

The Fiat in the pic is incidental.

I land the Harrier on the roof of my garage.

Well now, that's quite inconvenient. Who ordered that trio of Irish arborists? I guess I'll have to go the long way around. My chicken bhuna will get cold.

Who was it that bought a basket case Silver Shadow on PH ?

A reasonable car with 11 month MOT today sold for £3800.

Not much money in basket cases then....nope.
