It's not a school night, so I'm up late.

Actually I had to take a lie down earlier ,due to feeling unwell.

I'm alright after a bit of a uknowwhat.....

No ,not THAT.
So, not sex and not alcohol.

Okay, I give up.

Four days to Volume 28.

By my reckoning. By my - traditionally wildly inaccurate - reckoning.

The commencement of Volume 28 will mean 27 complete volumes comprising roughly 270,000 posts and 4,000,000 hits. For historical reasons, courtesy of a shaky start to the thread, it's actually more than that.

We should party.

Thursday for a Stag evening? Again, for historical reasons, it doesn't have to be in the evening and it doesn't have to be Stag.

Flexibility is the key.

You'll easily catch up if I go on one of my occasional and legendary flounces.

Oh but my occasional and legendary flounces never last as long as I predict.

Flounces.

Yes, but it's a Bank Holiday. Does that count? Flouncewise?

I've spent this weekend at Brands Hatch. Sunburn and windburn are no good for my youthful complexion.

So do ours, I didn't realise you lived here too.
Have you noticed it's gone dark again just like yesterday?

If the India Rubber Man had a fling with The Incredible Elastic Woman....

Would it be a long, drawn out affair?

That's flexibility for you.

A trivial fact about Wyoming.

Wyoming has an area 4,000 square miles larger than the entire UK.
The UK is home to 53 million people.
Wyoming is home to 600,000 people.

It is simply vast on a level unimaginable to most people

.
.

And on that note, goodbye Saratoga Wyoming and hello Scottsdale Arizona: 900 miles south, 9,000ft lower and 15 degrees warmer!

Telegraph Business News - Wave of deals means the days of Arthur Daley-style car salesman might be numbered.

Cars to automatically vaporise at six years old.

And yet the whole of the USA is a similar size to the Sahara Desert.

Now that's big. It's no wonder folk get lost in it. They should have more signs.

There was a regular Jack-the-Lad character in Minder called Maltese Tony played by Michael Kitchen. Some mornings either Terry or Arthur would find him asleep in the back of a car on Arthur's car lot.

Or so I thought.

According to IMDb, Maltese Tony only appeared in one episode. So, not a regular character at all. The genius of Minder must have been its amiability where everything and everyone seemed familiar.

Worse, I found that out but I can't remember what I was looking for. Ah, the joys of the internet.
