I work in Henlow Camp, it didn't so much rain as dump a single sodding great lump of water from a great height!
It was brilliant!

Afraid not, but don't rule out something bubbling up. Storms around Newbury area slowly moving NW.

Lincolnshire has been thundery and wet for about three hours now.

We had some long spells of rumbling and very loud thunder.

We also had a monumental Florida style downpour earlier. Lasted about fifteen minutes and soaked everything.

Some of my plants are in greenhouses so will still need a water. smile

Well in my area blackwood south wales with all the threats of heavy thunderstorms has amounted to nothing more than a few spots of rain.

Been really muggy though sleeping was tough beginning of the week got better from Thursday on.

Fantastic storming this evening on the Herts/Beds border. The A1 was under water, Letchworth and Stotfold saw flooding.
Top banging!

Plenty more storms available this week with low pressure in charge but warm air nearby.

Weekend looking potentially hot, and then it could either stay summery, or might go wet again. Watch this space.

There have been a lot of sudden downpours in Kingston recently, but it's actually rumbly for once with the odd flash of lightning. Sun is nice, but I think I prefer this sort of not too warm, off and on again sort of weather.

Absolutely terrible weather today. We had a massive thunderstorm that rained, and rained, and rained down on us. It didn't move for absolutely ages and I have never seen our drive flood like it did today. At one point, I was getting concerned that the water was going to reach the house.

It was like a monsoon rain storm that just stayed above us. There was hardly any wind and it's the longest bout of persistent, heavy rain I've seen. The drive is just starting to look normal, although my car is still sitting in a massive puddle.

I live in Lincolnshire and I hope that is it for this weather for now. Glad it looks like the pressure is getting higher from tonight onwards.

Looks like the Azores High is going to come and pay us a visit. This week's wet and thundery weather replaced by a little warmth.

Could start getting quite humid and thundery from the south later on next week.

The one yesterday kept setting my car alarm off. Thank fully I had parked in the visitors spot (naughty) and could turn it off from my desk.

We have had more thunderstorms in the past week in MK than we have had the 10 years I have lived here. Love it. Still waiting for a power cut though.

Met Office yellow warning for potential thundery downpours in the SouthEast for Wed-Fri. Not sure I've seen a 3 day warning before!

What's it looking like for the Assen TT this weekend?
First time at Moto GP so if you could arrange nice weather it would be much appreciated!
