Weather report for my neck of the woods tomorrow:

Either 20 degrees and sunny or "isolated intense thunderstorms developing during the afternoon and evening.

Please be aware that if these occur they are likely to be associated with torrential downpours as well as frequent lightning and hail leading to disruption to travel, outdoor activities and potentially flooding or temporary power disruption. Some very localised strong and gusty winds are also possible."

Got the kids and grandkids coming on Sunday so it's gonna be a quick trip to Hayling Island and a beach barbie with music / fun and games as they want to do something for my birthday (may the fourth be with you) followed by a blitz of the fairground and penny arcades afterwards.

So, between 12 and about 6 the weather needs to smile on us. Weather gods are you listening?

Not sure about the thunder part, but summer is well under way in London. It's a glorious day, albeit not quite as sunny as it could be.

Overcast in West Sussex but still warm. Hope the sun reappears as it was much nicer yesterday when it was out smile

Biblical rain in Leicester right now with plenty of thunder and lightning.

Anyone have a set of plans for an arc?

Send some of that my way.

Had the oddest shower earlier. Was sunny, then started rain and the drops were huge, not failing fast or heavy but massive drops. Strange

Had some impressive thunder and lightning over Warwick this afternoon. Just as I'd finished cleaning the cars. Obviously!

Are we going to be breaking any May temperature records tomorrow?

It will definitely definitely be the hottest day so far, I doubt May records are on the line but maybe May 8th records.

Pugette jnr was born on May 8th 2008 and it was a blinking hot day, exactly 30 days after we had had a foot of snow!
