On the other hand, this would also be the day that us asthma sufferers can freely kick anyone smoking whilst walking down the street square in the nuts as well.

Nothing more annoying that somehow getting stuck walking behind a smoker going the same way, i can either delay my journey for half a minute while i let him/her open up a gap, or suffer the smoke...
I have no experience of it obviously, but I do sympathise to a degree.

I don't walk that fast when smoking, please feel free to pass on the left or the right at the first opportunity.
A loud 'Harumph' (or scrotum bashing) will not be required to complete the manoeuvre safely, I will make way, and it would be ignored in any case (except a scrotum bashing).

EDIT: also, i'd be tempted to give anyone blasting music from a phone/bluetooth speaker whilst walking down the street a good -punt
I think most people are tempted on most days if in / travelling to / through London.

If I were a true hard man I'd strangle my neighbour with a piece of wire and piss myself laughing in his face as he finally dies by my hand, then I'd burn his house down and destroy his precious rose bushes.

Or y'know, probably just hunker down and wait it out.

Oh i will pass if possible, and i dont seriously begrudge you (or anyone) their smoke, but there are those situations when avoiding second hand smoke in public is somewhat harder (waiting at the bus stop with a smoker standing all the way up wind), and if im in the wrong mood that will annoy me.

Thankfully the asthma isnt that bad, but the smell puts me off as well.

Either way, let's join forces and just kit youths blasting rap music over the head shall we?

I have avoided visiting pubs at all since the ban. Occasionally will go to one if weather is fair and reasonable outdoor seating is provided.
Am I reading this incorrectly or does your second sentence call bullst on your first?
I suppose if I were taking that as a programme requirements specification, I would be asking for clarification too. Taking each sentence as an absolute (which is how the first is worded), I would have to give you that one; it somewhat precludes the second.

It's been so occasional that I honestly had to stop and think; the last time I even sat outside at a pub?
It's over a year ago, and was probably the first time in a couple of years, and it wasn't really a 'pub', rather a restaurant with an outdoor seating area that mostly gets used by drinkers in the evenings.
Not sure if that counts as strictly speaking "avoided visiting pubs at all" or not?

I think the uk version would be low on serious crime but high on looting, theft and joyriding. It'd be like the 80s all over again

I might risk a strongly worded post on PH and not worry about the grammar police for one day.

Great idea for a movie- very badly executed.

I'd commmit massive tax and financial fraud.

Those arent victimless crimes though, what if i found out you'd frauded my nan out of her pension savings? I (and many others) could use next years purge day to come and kick you in the nuts (or a lot worse)

You really dont want to piss anyone off in a world where this is a thing

Am I the only one who would actually kill someone?

Two people to be precise, unrelated situations but close enough to get them both in one night...

Both have wrought untold pain upon members of my family and effectively got away with it...

Then I'd book a flight out of the UK for the next morning and never come back...

I'm a nice guy really... smile

I still think my idea of adding avatars on PH is a greater "crime" wink

But what's the point. The whole point of fraud is that it involves subterfuge and concealment. The point is to attempt to dupe and get away with it.

It's the purge. Just fking steal it...
