Shopping at Asda - council.

I've got one. I was chatting to my nephew at the weekend, his mate at school (in the first year at secondary school), goes to the same school as his uncle (he's in the fifth year at secondary school). All seems a bit council to me.
A lad I used to work with lived with his dad in a two bedroom terraced house. His mum died when he was a kid. When he was about 23, he got his girlfriend pregnant. A couple of months later, his dad told him that his girlfriend was now up the duff too. He had to get out of his dad's place much quicker than planned.

He used to joke about how chavvy it looked when his son went to mums and tots with his mother, step-gran, and his uncle who was younger than him.

"Sue Wigley, 56, from Basingstoke came to Southampton to make her daughter Amanda live her dream and take a picture with the iconic symbol.

She said:"Amanda has always wanted to see the Coca-Cola truck and now that it is in Southampton we decide to come down.

"We will take pictures and have a free bottle of Coke".

Living the dream right there!

I was worried that I hadn't yet seen enough Coca Cola advert related posts on my Facebook feed compared with previous years. It used to be the case that you were then allowed to pronounce that it was "officially Christmas"

I think I have finally weeded out those people from my Facebook feed now.

I've had a tenant do this.

Moved in, bought all sorts from Bright House (TV, washer, fridge freezer, cooker, hoover, corner couch, Xbox etc.) and 2 weeks later cleared off with the lot. I was actually up on the deal, but I'm guessing Bright House weren't. I let the bloke in for a quick look around so he could check it had all gone & I re-let the house. Odd way to live your life for a woman with a couple of kids.
Plenty do it, normally single mums etc. I used to do the trace and return of goods, got called some classy names by an 8 year old kid when I repo'd the full kitchen

People enjoying life and here you are being a miserable git.

It's on tour so you can find out when it's coming near you here.

I took the kids to see it last year when it came to Sheffield - they were proper giddy about it, and got loads of pictures beside it.

What was proper council though - they were giving out free cans of coke, and there were a group of people getting to the front of the queue for a free can, then going straight to the back again to get another, and another... And when the PR team noticed, they went to the back and swapped coats with eachother. All that for maybe a dozen or so free tins of sticky teeth-rot-juice.

Just noticed that it is going to Doncaster this year, not Sheffield.

I think they'll need a bit more security for it, perhaps like this...

Is this a 'thing'?
Organised photoshoots purporting to be random snaps of trollops in their drawers putting the bins out?
That's a pretty niche perversion....

Yes, I'm afraid it's a thing - there was a rash of posts (possibly on this very thread) a while back of assorted z-listers being photographed putting their bins out in their smalls, supposedly unawares. Actually, perhaps that should be the collective noun for photos of such people: a rash.

Red Ken started the trend ages ago though - https://www.thesun.co.uk/archives/politics/443335/...
