Council away byebye
Just Wow!

Recovering from major heart surgery and goes to McDonalds on a regular basis. banghead
They've made 8 complaints about the quality of the food since August, but they still keep going back
Not really Council as much as Stupid.
I would imagine that most of their previous complaints have resulted in free vouchers or a refund
I love how their altercation is described after a "routine visit". If she has lukaemia I'll eat my.........quarter pounder with cheese paid for with a voucher through the letterbox.

Quite a tragic story, the guy was autistic and apparently didn't understand how to relate to people in a conventional way or deal with confrontation appropriately. He reacted badly to seeing his son being bullyed and paid with his life.
You mean bullied ?

If any of us actually lived our life by the rules of this thread in an attempt to avoid being council I suspect we'd all be sat around naked in empty houses.

So true! Must be down to previous search activity, I've found Oakey's house pictures about 6 rows down on my search results... laugh

To be fair, it's an open investigation and the implication is that some security guards used the wrong techniques (catastrophically)

Not sure on "full council"?
Shaven-headed thug, getting into a fight at Pontins, that's definitely council.

It may well be that security were at fault for using a poor restraining method - but he got himself into that situation by behaving like a council thug. I'd imagine, by looking at the photos on the DM website, that he was hardly a compliant detainee, too! - will be very interesting to hear the full story.

(I'm assuming they also found all those photos on Facebook, as they really don't paint him in a good light)
Photographed on the bus. Definitely council.
Quote "The problem is that he finds it difficult to cope in any sort of confrontation if someone is in his face."

So this wasn't his first time?

Visited my local bank branch this morning & a young council type mother suddenly shouted at the top of her voice to her young son running outside, "ORLANDO GERR ERE NOW" !
Pure unadulterated council.

Is an automatic disregard for authority and/or polite requests to be deemed council?

Wandered over to the main terminal to get some lunch and the police are doing either some training or a sweep with a couple of sniffer dogs. They asked everyone to go through one of two sets of doors, to pass the dogs. A simple polite request from one officer to ask people to keep left when going in to the terminal, but I watched one man actually argue this point with the officer, "Why should I? What you gonna do bout it?" type of thing.

I think that sort of behaviour is a vicious circle or a self fulfilling prophecy.

"I hate them, so why do they always pick on me?"

Victim culture when they are the cause of it, as demonstrated so many times in this thread.

Though, arguably, the unquestioning compliance with organs of the state puts us in just as bad a place as the full bloom of Idiocracy.

I don't know any children who would consider those appropriate for the wall in their bedroom.
