A honourable enough cause, but look at the two chav women who have ensured they have front row viewing, to just get their phones out and film the funeral. Presumably for Facebook to garnish likes. Show some respect for crying out loud, it's a funeral, not public entertainment!

One of the pall bearers is wearing Crowtree leathers.

Crowtree along with BKS, MW and any other bespoke leathers are not council.

Dainese, Alpinstar, Arlen Ness, RST, Spidi and anything else off the peg is council, extra council points for un-scuffed knee sliders.

not council at all, respect is shown just by turning up. Amazing really people giving time for unknown person, maybe you just don't comprehend this.

We've seen the name Jaxson riding in popularity on the estates.

Saw kaden, Oakley, Savannah, Kane and red, all as kids names in households last week.

Sadly you might as well write those children off now.

Same goes for still wearing your hi-viz vest whilst driving home from work.

Not sure any of those above are particularly council.

I'm in a senior management role and wear a company branded shirt (like a pit-crew shirt) or polo and have company jackets / coats, too. I wear a pass on a lanyard so people know who I am when visiting a 3rd party owned location. I also wear a branded hi-vis which sometimes gets left on when I'm driving between sites or driving home.

Our UK MD does the same, too!

Surely dining in Applebee's qualifies for this thread.

That's a massively sweeping statement. So if you worked as an engineer or a sales guy for Rolls Royce gas turbines or General Dynamics etc you'd be council for wearing a company Tee shirt?

If you're referring to KFC or something then I'd tend to agree.

Incidentally I got confused for a council employee once. I was wearing a polo shirt I had been given after working with the crew of a warship. (I am a civvy) (When I say crew, I mean the officers obviously. )
:-)
The shirt is dark blue with the ship's badge on the left breast.

I was at a local small shopping centre which has a car park.

I was wearing this polo shirt waiting for my wife when a bloke approaches me to tell me there's hell kicking off at the he car park entrance because the ticket barrier machine was broken. The guy got quite irate when I asked him why he thought I could help. He came back with a load of abuse about lazy jobsworth council employees. He'd mistaken the ship's crest for the local council logo. It was quite funny for both of us when I put him straight.

Hi-vis and company branded polo clothing =/= "senior management" in any business of reasonable size.

There are some really bizarre suggestions on here.

Fly spray? Really? - suppose you all must get Jeeves to chase them around with a fly swat.
