Just to clarify Dave's point: banger tracks aren't normally in a village, they're normally located in places that would be ideal for a body dump.

If it was Standlake, very council!
Just because a village has a banger racing track in it doesn't automatically make it council :P
I didn't make any reference to the Banger Racing Track. I was referring to Hardwick Park which is "council"

Banger Racing is whole other minefield

That's a good one ... also plastic mat under the bowl to stop the bowl scratching the sink

Thankyou ATTAK, I think you may be the first one to agree with me!

Errrgh, the underside of the average washing up bowl frown

PH member CharlesDeGaulle (the essence of non council) has his sympathies, though, I suspect.

All Inclusive holiday makers in Majorca, visiting the same attraction as me who then berate me about the cost of the food at said attraction, and why have they not got a discount as they are fking all inclusive. Also what a rip off it is for the cost of allowing a child to get up close and personal with the Dolphins and things like that should be included in the entrance fee!!

All inclusive in Alcudia? Jesus!! One particular charming lady said they couldn't be fked with Puerto de Pollensa as the discos finished early and the kids would have nothing to do! Her kids were smaller than mine, who is nine!! They should keep the feral rodents in the all inclusive compound!

I will never get a bus on holiday again!!

The Dolphins were great by the way .... Expensive but great!!

About 12 years ago we went on an all inclusive holiday to Alcudia called Club Mac as my kids where 3 and it was their 1st holiday abroad and I wanted a short flight with lots of options on what they could have to eat.

Omg the most shocking council place I have ever seen and what's worse I was stuck there for 2 weeks.
Kids running wild, parents p!ssed up fighting in the hotel bare back at night.

Sh!t in the pool, kids drowning almost every day due to the parents not giving a feck about their welfare.

Never ever again.

Look the place up on trip advisor the reviews are shocking.

Whistle is so right. We had the pleasure seeing it on the bus for that excursion, and also on the bus back to the airport.

Pollensa is like a different world in comparison!

This thread has made me realize I may be council.

One of my daughters has a double barrel 1st name.

I like speedway, banger racing, and other forms of oval racing.

I like greyhound racing.

We have a trampoline.

We live on benefits.

We live in a council house.

However...

We keep a clean house.

My kids respect there elders, and know there manors.

All pets receive vets treatment when needed.

The benefits are DLA for 2 specials needs children, and carers allowance.

So am I council, or just a bloke struggling to keep his head above water?

"Upper council", perhaps? smile

I do think this thread is about piss taking and fun. I like half the stuff mentioned in it (not washing up bowls though).

DLA is neither council or non council.

On tripadvisor there is a guy who said literally the same thing (about the kids) as the opening sentences in your post. Then went on to describe the st in the pool etc

However he went recently only just noticed you went 12 yrs ago.

I have fun reading this thread.

I'm just trying to show the few that take it a little to serious that they are there but for the grace of god.

And to lighten up.
