I'm quite certain that I will take my own life in a few years' time. What use are elderly and infirm people to society? We spend huge amounts of money keeping people alive who don't necessarily want to exist any more. It's ridiculous.
Same with self-harmers and suicide junkies. Let them die - they want to.
Ok I'll bite at this rather obvious troll.Same with self-harmers and suicide junkies. Let them die - they want to.
We are a compassionate society. We look after the elderly, the weak, the infirm and the vulnerable, and rightly so. I wish we spent more on them, not less.
Obviously the feckless and the shirkers need to be discouraged and prevented but that's not the same as being weak and vulnerable.
I would gladly pay more tax to look after the latter group even better than we already do.

But this post is spot-on. So many people say we should do more, but offer the public a vastly improved and funded NHS in return for 35% income tax and 15% NI contributions, and they'll all look the other way and shuffle their feet. It's human nature.

You couldn't pay me enough to take this away, let alone me pay them for it.
Actually, is this council, or several classes below?
A guy at work put his scabby old sofa on the noticeboard as a for sale ad, horrible old brown thing replete, in the ad photo with a massive, bloated, aged black Labrador with a lampshade on its head, I Was looking at it and he clocks me and does his sales pitch, I feign mild interest to be polite and ask if the dog is included, he says that sadly Bessie is no longer with us, having passed on aged ten recently, I asked whether that was the reason for the lampshade but he said the picture was much earlier and was required due to a skin complaint.Actually, is this council, or several classes below?
Sorry but no, £200 for a manky sofa with Labrador skin scratchings, very council.

Former job was repossessing goods for a company that sold mainly to the work shy. I removed a sofa from a property that was a month old in the same condition as the one in the photo. Actually, is this council, or several classes below?
Being morbidly obese and spending an hour or so hobbling around your council house front garden on crutches and intermittently leaning on the front gate. All the while letting out singular little coughs like clockwork to prove you're disabled or to annoy the fk out of the windscreen man (me) who's working Sunday to pay for all the benefit that is no doubt being coined in by Jabba the Hut on her dole poles.

I found that way more amusing than I should.

Kodi's not council. Sky's council.
What do wealthy people have for TV if not Sky ?Unless you're addicted to the one-eyed family member, why pay (even) more than you have to?

Wedding dresses, council style...
After all everyone whats to look their best on the big day.
I wonder if the pictures subeditor was on a bonus for the phrase "wouldn't have looked out of place..."Wedding dresses, council style...

I know it's the Daily Fail but that's some seriously lazy copy.
